    Hi Tom. As you know the shipper has the facility to put emergency credit on token meters when we test. We had one guy in Gloucester who always reported a gas escape when he ran out of credit he thought he was getting free gas every time we called. Long story but one of the lads got chased down the road and had had pizza thrown at his windscreen when he refused to “wind” the gas on 😂😂

    Nice work there Tom.👍 I have some sympathy with the tenant - he is paying rent and the boiler including installing and commissioning of the boiler is the landlords responsibility, when you are brassic and eking out your food money every quid counts! On the toilet install (in the narrow room with the black soil pipe), would it not have been better to take out the skirting on the pan wall - getting the hole for the soil pipe closer to the back wall? (Just asking😉). I much prefer the hard tails on the sink taps too.😀👍

  • @PlumbLikeTom

    @PlumbLikeTom

    I do understand that the landlord probably should pick the gas bill up, to be fair the new boiler will be more efficient and I only ran the boiler a short period of time, to be honest I don't think it would have used £4 worth of gas but I don't actually know, the soil pipe is being boxed in, I find going in front of the skirting works best as it falls the right distance for the pan connector to go fully into the toilet, thanks for watching as always Norman

    Thanks as always for sharing, good content as usual. Good to get a mention for my mate TomPlumb👍👍 I was disappointed with no offsets on the tubes at the Basin & more elbows than Gazza in the Penalty Box!! Nice neat job nevertheless. Polypipe Traps are really poor, always McAlpine, made in Scotland from Girders!!! McAlpine don’t just have great Plumbing products, after doing maintenance work in a couple of their factories, they’re great people & treat their Staff really well👍👍 WC close couples doughnut washers, if they leak use Plumbers Mait both sides, never fails & you can still lift the Cistern off if required. Buy the new wee 15mm Monument Bender, it’s fabulous & fits inside your tool bag. Elbows take longer to fit, have two more joints & restrict the flow. Formed bends look more professional, don’t leak & don’t restrict the flow as much. Kind regards & luv Dick Puller. PS How about a mention for the most infamous Scottish Plumber.......ME!!!

    Thanks for the support as always mate, the only reason I didn't use bends was because I wanted the pipes a bit tighter at the top, I fitted a load on another job yesterday and I bent all them ,I might show the job in a future video, mccalpine products are quality, for some reason my local merchants only stock polypipe and vitra or viva traps, I will give you a shout out in a future video, thanks for watching, have a great weekend 👍
