@@pigeonsandplanes5805 well yes, by definition there's head voice in there. But it's about as "chesty" as I've ever heard a C6 being. That being said it's very balanced and clearly uses both the thyroarytenoid and cricothyroid muscles

@@Edward-W but it's a cricothyroid dominant C6. It's more like 60%head/40% chest, especially when u compare with her best C6s in Lean On Me

@@pigeonsandplanes5805 True, it isn't as TA-heavy as in Lean on me, but the audio is a bit muted and not very high quality. I'm not sure if we can appoint such specific percentages to it. Or maybe you can, but to me it still doesn't sound like mostly CT

her upper belts are literally second to none, people can dislike her tone all they want, but Sohyang's technique can never be overlooked

Hard to imagine there can be someone who really dislike her tone.. Sohyang's voice is so ethereal, indescribably holy, crystal clear ringing, and sublime. At least for me, her tone is second to none as well.

I think her only problem now is her stamina (her stamina even now remains astounding but due to serious health issues and age has decreased slightly.)Counting that Dream was an extremely exhausting song even when she was younger in her 20s/30s I don't know that now she wants to risk singing it ,also because the last part of the song it's extremely tiring and it's really difficult to "support" if you are exhausted.

I'm gobsmacked! She sounds even better than before. How she manages to keep climbing when she was already that phenomenal is beyond me. so brilliant. Also the transition at 5.40 - 5.48 (i think that's where it is) is unbelievable. it's so smoothly done, on the same note, switching registers and (possibly the hardest part) the damatic change in dynamics from quite a poweful sound to such a delicate and soft one. She really is a master vocalist.

Thanks for the video~ This has been an amazing year for Sohyang. The touring, new releases, new collabs, going on Immortal songs, new TV shows, she gave it all this year. Despite having covid in July she still continued her touring and performed even harder set lists than earlier in the year. Hopefully in 2023 she stays healthy, as that's what matters the most🙏

อายุมีผลกับเธอแค่เล็กน้อยเท่านั้น สังเกตเสียงนางจะแหบแห้งนิดหน่อย และถ้าวันไหนที่เธอสุขภาพดี เสียงจะมีคุณภาพใกล้เคียงกับช่วงสดใหม่ของเธอ การมิกซ์โน๊ตC6นั้นไม่ได้เซอร์ไพรส์มากเท่าไหร่ เพราะเธอทำได้เป็นเรื่องปกติเฉพาะ Sohyang

จริงงง ตอนเห็นว่าชีร้อง C6 คือตกใจมาก ไม่นึกว่าจะไต่ไปถึงแถมยังซัพพอร์ตอีก รักษาเส้นเสียงดีมากจริงๆ นอกจากเสียงจะไม่พังแล้ว เหมือนดีขึ้นกว่าช่วง 2019-2021 อีกด้วยนะ 😍
