I think that's the problem. A song doesn't need to be sang perfectly. It needs to convey the emotions. The tone of this song also suits a certain style.

So, singing in good technique is impressive thing which is forgotten by most Netizen today (especially Kpop fans who uses to hype brand instead of music.) So, we need more critical and honest comments on vocal and musical professional fields. Otherwise, people will neglect about the vocal quality of next generations and poorly proficient singer will replace professional singers.
