SOG AI Demo #14: Banzai crater assaults, and melee fighting
This video demonstrates two new features added to SOG AI: Banzai crater assaults, and melee attacks.
Note that Vanilla AI will NOT rush craters because craters are ARMA building objects, so at best a few Vanilla AI will slow walk on the crater, so this mod greatly improves that behavior. When player team is defending a crater, the enemy will now rush to the crater rim to shoot your team, and some will run into crater to do melee attacks. Melee attacks can occur anywhere in map where the enemy happens to be within 6 meters of player or an AI in player's squad.

How is the whistle sound put in?

Prairie Fire DLC added some whistle sounds. My code plays those sounds for the enemy to signal each other to charge the crater. Here's a snippet of how to use those sounds: private _whistles =['vn\sounds_f_vietnam\sfx\missiondesign\enemy_whistle_1.ogg', 'vn\sounds_f_vietnam\sfx\missiondesign\enemy_whistle_2.ogg', 'vn\sounds_f_vietnam\sfx\missiondesign\enemy_whistle_3.ogg', 'vn\sounds_f_vietnam\sfx\missiondesign\enemy_whistle_4.ogg' ]; playSound3D [selectRandom _whistles, _unit, false, getPosASL _unit, 2, 1, 0];
is this mod compatible with the mcc sandbox 4 ? or dinamic recon ops maps ?
