Frey has been working for years on FPGA designs and digital electronics for various types of products. He has done a lot of work on improving the FPGA design and verification process by implementing new technologies and methodologies, and developing in-house tools.
Guido is an FPGA designer working at Prodrive Technologies for 6 years. He has been working on FPGA designs for cameras and motor control for a magnetic elevator. Besides designing he is passionate about formal verification to ensure the implementation works first-time-right on hardware.
Within Prodrive Technologies, FPGAs are commonly used in many different products. We noticed that our FPGA design process did not scale with the increased complexity and time to market of modern product design. Over the past years, we started focusing on improving quality and productivity. Our ultimate goal is to design a bug-free FPGA in just one hour.
