chalk line goes to the fair side not on top of the chalk line

the chalk line should never straddle the string line or else half of your foul line is in foul territory

That makes ability no sense! There is no set foul territory. It's where the line is. chalking the string down the middle makes no matter. I worked for a minor league baseball team... I know what I'm talking about.

The pitching circle you should put your nail center and front of the pitching rubber.

😱😵‍💫This video shows how to do a substandard job of lining a field! Many rookie mistakes are shown here! Glaring mistakes: centering the chalk on the string, not insuring the rubber is centered on the infield because the tape was not pulled all the way to 2B, referencing the circle to the back of the rubber, referencing the batter's box to the foul line rather than by its proper relationship to the plate! Its time to pull out the rule book and actually try to lay things out correctly!

There's numerous videos on KZread fir lining off a field and I think every one that I've watched is wrong. They ALL put the string in the middle if the chalk lines.

What kind of rope is that?

It’s a String that is used to mark the Lines of a Baseball field because you want nice fresh lines that are straight.

When I played ball as a kid, they didn’t do shit for us. We’d be lucky if we had three crappy torn up bases

Ugh the outside of the chalk is suppse to be on the line. So when the chalk ends its foul territory. If you put the chalk with the line down the center then technically a ball on the line will be called incorrectly. Also why is there 2 bags? Ive never seen that in 41 years.

The double first base is an option that has been around for a number of years. Its purpose is to provide more room at first base in order to reduce collisions (and injury). It also entices runners to actually use the running lane. There rules specific to the double base that all players must be aware of whenever it is present on a field.
