Wat about removing the gills??? People who are going to cook it for the 1st time (like me) need to know it! Thankfully I watched other videos prior this one

I cooked the crab with the gills and the abdominal plate.Then saw the video and removed those from the curry..The taste is good. The gills and the plate does not cook well and has no taste. So better to remove those.

Always remove the gills (lungs) also.

Thanks for the advice, I do that for the hard shells one but I think I should do it for these soft shells ones too 😆😆
Did NOT see him wash them or cut the gills out either. The gills are NOT to be eaten.
@fredfishandcook
2 жыл бұрын
It is recommended to take them out. However for soft shell crabs, it is difficult to do it. The whole like a piece of “meat”. I will try to do it for the next cooking. Thanks for the advice 😊
Chinese or Asian people to me always put so much food in there mouth when eating. It makes think they're going to choke
@fredfishandcook

Honestly it is just for “entertainment” we don’t really put so much food that we can’t eat 😂
