🔦 Sofirn Flashlights (Incredible Value)

I have many dozens of flashlights in my collection but the Sofirn Lights may be the best overall value, and not by a little...by a LOT.

I really love the SP36 BLF. It's slightly pricier than all of these (~$60) but it's a really powerful soda can style light, and especially if you also get the diffuser a perfect light to keep at home for emergencies and power outages, but also a decent option to take out camping. The newer versions also have the powerbank feature (and with three 18650 inside it's basically a proper powerbank that also works as a powerful flashlight if need be).

I have each of these lights except for the Pro Versions.... and yes... a TAIL SWITCH would make these already awesome lights more awesome. With the SP10V3 light I have been using the eFest 650 mAh IMR 14500 and Vapcell 14500 1000mAh cells and the light performs even better. With the SC21 Acebeam IMR 16340 cell, and there again, the light performs even better. And it still recharge perfectly via the USB-C port. In all fairness, both lights still perform excellently with the Sofrin batteries… just better with the IMR or Vepcell. I also the the Sofrin SP35, and it is a remarkable performer. I use the supplied Sofrin 21700 5000mAh and Samsung flat-top 21700 5000mAh batteries (light doesn't work with any button-tops) and they charge in the light via the USB C charging port and work perfectly. Yes... as I said in one of our previous conversations... I'm very impressed with all of my Sofrin flashlights. They're the best value on the market and each light stacks up to any light in the same class... and in many cases are actually better than much more expensive lights. With the SC21 lights, it use a stainless splitring in the lanyard attach point and use a adjustable paracord wrist lanyard. And that's because I sleep with one of these lights attached to my wrist at night so I don't have to Fumble around in the dark to find my light should I need to get up and go to the bathroom or hear something go bump in the night. I am a wildlife biologist and spend a lot of time camping in the wilderness in places I work and I started sleeping with the light attached to my wrist so I have instant access to it should it the light be needed. If the start using a tail switch with the same user interface on these lights, in my opinion they'll be the very best (my favourite) lights on the market. And I'll always buy Olights as well. Except for the SC21, this light I like with the side switch. Thank you, and great review kola, George Silver Hawk

Man, why you or anyone want a tail switch??? I bought a SC21 and HS10; RCR123 is the way to go - much more usable capacity than AAA and smaller and lighter than AA, higher voltage than both. You can use CR123 when needed and you can charge RCR123 in and out of the flashlights. The only downside of these Sofirn is runtime, about half of the Coast XPH27R (from Walmart for $21.50) and shorted than that of the Kodiak KUB too (also from Walmart for $19.97). This is the only thing I wish Sofirn to improve on.

They also have aux lights and they use Anduril 2 and you can get a flashing kit to keep the Ui software up to date. I personally love smooth ramping compared step mode. I also love how there’s lights out there in this price range that have outstanding quality and usefulness that these lights have. Perfect for all situations and conditions. Better take your money to a reputable brand I ordered multiple headlamps from Sofirn which I use for my business - Their products consistently have various malfunctions, and when I contact them to honor the return policy/warranty that they claim to have on their products they give me the runaround like literally sending me random emojis (??), and not responding, and when I check back in sending me my order number, and asking if that is he order, when I respond that it is, they end contact, and we have to start again. The IF22 has a much tighter beam. It's been called a pencil beam, whatever that means but I get the point. The Catapult Pro is a better flashlight in my opinion, it's quit a bit brighter with a much larger flood and longer range. I've compared them side by side. IF22 is better in that it takes a 27500 battery instead of the The 26650. I have mostly 27500 battery flashlights so it's cool to have that compatibility. And like the maxlvledc said the IF22 battery can be used as a powerbank. Also the IF22 fits in your pocket with a good clip. It's a bit too big for EDC for most people but if you're out and about it's easier to stick in your pocket. The Catapult is for sure not EDC unless you have it in a bag or something.

"Flashlight as a power bank". Great use ONLY if ou know for sure you won't need that flashlight tht day or night. to charge another device we're depleting the powere from the flashlight obviously. Just as when we use one phone to give power to another. Better to carry a portable "power brick" ...or if you happen to wlking around with more than one flashlight....etc. SOFIrIN. Sounds like a smart company Offring programability. Odd other brands don't offer this at all like FENIX. Build-quality? I think most lights are failry "equal"....as long as we stick to "known brands"...in the torch community...of course there are many no one's heard of.... Seems most of SOFIrIN torhes are more "EDC" based (underhand grip). Not many if any that have tail-end buttons. Or dual tailend buttons so that you can operate it with onehand for "tactical" use.
