My favourite metro train of the Sofia Metro as a whole is one of these - the A12.

My favorite of this trains are two A3 and A12

The announcements are very nice

I’d be so happy to be able to ride the 81-717/714s again. They were my favourites on the Budapest metro system before they got modernised. It would be so nostalgic to ride them again.

As someone who lives in Sofia nope, not as quiet as they seem on video :v But they have a lot of character and I like them!

I went to Sofia in early July 2022 just because of metro and especially this trains. It’s only 4 of them left, but I think they will run for a while. Very nice video! When did you film it?

They will run until it’s possible to communicate with MWM again, because they will be modernising them

@@metrovagonstrojproductions8288, yep. Only few trains there (A3, A4, A5 & A12). A3 was the really first train that ran with passengers back in 1998. Do you have Facebook by any chance?

Is there any way to know when these trains are out? I love them aswell and it's been more than 5 years since I rode one in budapest

@@SejLifts , No! This train will be change with Siemens. Sofia use Simens trains for M3 line and now it`s logically to use same for the old lines.

They do. I mean, they run on random days. You can never be 100% if there'll be one, but your best chance to get on one is if you go in the early morning to a station with a single platform where there are trains from both line 1 and line 4.

V lepším stavu už snad ani nemůžou být, to jen tak někde není (v ostatních městech kde ještě jezdí)

To těžko říct. Varšavské soupravy mají podle mě ještě velký potenciál jezdit. Paradoxně není ale moc jasné, jak dlouho budou ještě jezdit s nástupem Varsovie a na Ukrajině budou pravděpodobně sloužit pouze jako zdroj náhradních dílů...

Někdy jsme projížděli celou linku, než jsme na nějakou narazili. Naštěstí je v jednom úseku trať pro linky společná a čeká se tam tedy kratší dobu. Obtížné bylo popravdě chytit také modernizace, protože jich také nejezdilo moc. Většinu provozu tvoří soupravy typu „Rusič“.

No. All 81-717.4/714.4 were build between 1989 and 1990 by ММЗ. МВМ was formed in 1992.
