There is a tie breaker and the tiebreaker is the person who cleared the height with the least amount of attempts will break the tie.

The camera work .makes it frustrating to watch. Being able to see if the bar drops or not, and having the camera at the bar elevation would be nice.

hudson won a silver medal and raha and renner both got bronze medals. they tied because they hit the bar the same number of times. hudson hit less so got 2nd

Seems like it was a technical jump, I don't wanna see tech, I wanna see riders jump to the moon. Bring back the 47ft setup!

Why such a rudimentary system of raising and setting the bar in 2019? Some sort of computer controlled, visible laser or beam would be far more quickly and precisely controlled rather than this flimsy, sagging bar which can have safety implications if it falls and hits the rider or someone else, or gets tangled in the bike and impales someone as we saw is possible. Similar to the beams used in drag racing is what I would propose.

not as exciting as watching the bar bounce a little at the slightest tip and wondering if its gonna come off or not. its light pvc, its not gonna hurt riding into it. and no ones super worried about speed resetting here, half the time the riders arent even ready before the bar is up

Jon Erickson It's a 19". Similar to a flat track setup. Supermotos use a 17" on both front and rear.

really buddy? power to weight dont mean much, traction is more of a concern. and being only 90 pounds would actually make it harder to put that power to the ground without wheel spin. of course im sure his size does have its advantages. but lets not overlook the actual reason hes so dominating. he has insane bike skill. control. etc hes a very technical rider. with equal skill and precision. just look at the dumb little stand up one handed nose wheelie he did after helmet was off and celebrating down that landing. that is not so easy. my hats off to him. and ive gone 40 ft step up on a crf50! (of course thats 3rd tapped with unlimited run in tho)

Hill needs to pack it in. He's an awesome rider but stop while people still have a good memory of you.
