These cities were on the plain in the Southern region of the land of Canaan.
These cities were so productive thus compared to garden of Eden.
Genesis 19:29 says that " God remembered Abraham so He sent Lot out of the cities before destroying them but his wife turned back and became a pillar of salt.

The place that was a plain now is a mountain of salt {Sodom Mountains}

I just went there last December 2022 around Christmas time. It was the best part of my life to visit wonderful places in Israel. I just realized that everything in the Bible is Real. Things I didnt appreciate before. Thankful that God has led me to Israel. Hopefully I could go back if not soon, years later. ❤

@@amymartinez7654 they didn’t check our vaccination status yet we still made sure we had the vaccination certificate on hand just in case they find it to us. Also we spent two way ticket almost 2000 AED ( 500 + USD) from dubai to tel aviv and vice versa. Make sure you convert some of your money to Israel shekels cause some people may take advantage your USD when buying souvenirs.
That will prove to people that God never lies and that what he says shall always come to pass. Obedience is always better than sacrifice

The Pillar still stands. Lot never went back to put her in a cave. She was to stand as a testament to her rebellion. There is a pastor who actually showed the site with the brimstones remains that will burn if lit.

Since you're a believer and love The Messiah, I also suggest you to read the chapters and verses of the Holy Quran, at which the God, with his own words, tells us the stories of Virgin Mary and Prophet Jesus (pbuh). But you don't need to worry as there is only one version of the Quran, which is the one Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself delivered to humanity letter by letter as the word of God more than 1400 years ago.

One of my dream places to go with someday 😍 Since I became a christian (last few years ago) I'd love to visit those places mentioned in the bible but it seems so impossible 😊 But I'll always put on my mind (By God's Grace), It is okay if I couldn't reach those places when I still here in the earth. As long as I can be with God and dwell to His kingdom forever which describes as incomparable places of all. Wow the scenery was breathtaking! 😍 It's crazy how the tables have turned now because instead of us turning into a pillar of salt, we will be condemned to the lake of fire if we don't sincerely repent of our sins and live Holy! What I don't understand is that is Lot's wife buried after turning to pillar of salt?did they bury the salt or she turn back to human before they bury her.

Great content. Found this just after the sermon "Remember Lot's Wife" by Apostle Grace Lubega. She turned into a pillar of salt because she looked back and thought of the worldly things Lot had bought for her(expensive robes, perfumes, clothes etc) that she left behind. Love not this world. To God be the Glory.

I'm a Muslim and I see we have so much in common in our beliefs. We do believe in Lot, we call him Lūt (may peace be upon him). The parting of ways comes because CHRISTIANS WORSHIP JESUS (‘Isā) as a god or believe him to be the Son (or begotten son) of Allāh. This is considered an enormous/ mighty sin in Islam. Our God is One, NONE DESERVES TO BE WORSHIPPED BUT HE. Muhammad, may praise and peace be upon him is the Last Messenger in the series of Messengers sent by our Creator and Master. Jesus was sent to a previous nation. Do read acts 2: 22 where Jesus is referred to as a MAN APPROVED OF GOD WITH WONDERS AND MIRACLES AND SIGNS WHICH GOD DID BY HIM AND YOU'RE WITNESSES TO IT ALSO, READ THE 1st commandment of Moses. Jesus Christ (may peace be on him) is neither a god nor the son of God but an Esteemed Messenger and Servant of the Most High.

"In him was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS GOD. Without him nothing was made that was made." Isaiah is one of the prophets to speak of him the most, but even King David's Psalms speak of the savior to come, who would not suffer his body to be decayed, but would live and bring the hope of eternal life to even the bones of David. Jesus, therefore is the Word of God, or God in the flesh. Just as you have a spirit and a soul and a body, so does God. It shouldn't be that hard to believe. You yourself are not just flesh, or just a soul. You are made in the image of God and so are 3 in 1 like HE IS.

Yahuah did the job of burying her beneath mounds of salt. Just look at that landscape, salt earth, salt caves. No need for a burial, the work is done. What is more amazing is that it rarely receives rain there preserving lots wife for thousands of years, so that the salt does not get washed away, but rather that the salt in the area the way it is made just builds up stores of more salt. Even the book of Jasher states that cows would lick at it but by the next day the salt would return. This preserving lots wife beneath the salt.
