I made these and sold them at a Fall fair I was in. People went nuts over them. I just about sold out. I'm in a Holiday fair Dec 2nd I am busy making them again. You did a wonderful job with these.

Since elastic bands become stale and brittle over time, they will eventually snap and fall apart. In order to keep this from happening it would be a good idea to apply a good amount of the hot glue on top of the elastics all the way around.

Yep, you can definitely do that. You can also use string or yarn and tie a knot instead of using a rubber band. Lots of options!

Thank You for your Great idea!!! I was trying to find our Family Christmas Craft. We wanted to make a gnome type, but I didn’t know what kind. Last yr we started a “new”tradition w/them. I wanted them to have that memory of me. Their Daddy & I used to craft ALL the time & esp at Christmas time. Their family crafts now too! (Happy dance!) Last yr we made the clear plastic ornaments & we made “memory ones” one had a motorcycle, one with an Xbox, etc….We had a blast! They made one for here & a fun one for home too. Of course they’ll get the memory one too! God Bless you all! Merry Christmas to everyone!

Haha, that's what I did! Once you start you just can't stop, LOL.

These are so cute! Definitely making these for me as decor. And as gifts for my sister and Mom. Though, I’ve heard rice attracts bugs over time with these. So I think I’ll be using poly plastic pellets! That way I’ll avoid bugs haha. 😂 But these are so adorable

Thank you, and great idea! You might want to add a couple things that have some weight to them, along with the poly pellets, to make sure the snowman stands up okay and doesn't just fall over. Give it a try though and please come back and let me know how it worked out for you.
