@@jozelynteresagonzalez7719 Cannibalism is the act of consuming another individual of the same species as food and necrophagia is the act of consuming death corpses or carrion, it doesn't have to be human, so it would be both. It's seen as disrespectful because often times the term cannibalism is used for individuals that had done it in a pre meditated and also ritualistic way while these survivors did it out of pure necessity for survival. But that doesn't make the term any less accurate

this is something that people get wrong continuously but if you look it up, you'll find that cannibalism is the act of eating one of your same species while antropophagy (which is the word that is most commonly used when talking about this story) is the act of eating a human... so when it comes to individuals, the two words are synonyms. the problem is that the word cannibalism has a very nasty connotation so i guess it's mostly frowned upon when it comes to this

lo más impresionante de estos chicos en ese momento, es que uruguay no conocia la nieve, nunca en nuestro país habia nevado, y lo más frío que se pudo tener fue menos 3 o menos 5 grados, pero JAMÁS, menos 30 grados, esos chicos iban a un partido de rugby en chile donde era primavera y no habia nieve ni temperaturas tan bajas, por lo que los abrigos en el avion no eran mucho

I love this reaction video. This movie is so close to the real thing that many scenes look really close to the real photographs. Of course we Uruguayans have a special feeling with the history, and sometimes makes us take it with passion. But we are not supposed to... It would have been better if the plane didn't crash in the first place... ...But instead, this accident happened. And the history has to remind us all that if enough people love each other enough, then a miracle like this can happen.

The dictionary says that necrophagy is the act of feeding on corpses or carrion and cannibalism is the act of eating flesh of your own kind. So they did both. Just because they did it out of pure survival and not for some twisted reason, doesn't change the terminology.

Este comentario no esta en lo absoluto dirigido a las dueñas del canal pero que insoportable es la gente de mi generación cuando promocionan por tiktok una película apenas decente como si fuera la maravilla solo por ser latinoamericana y/o estar basada en hecho reales como si eso fuera beneficioso, ignorando el melodrama superficial de Bayona. Gracias a Dios no ganó los premios de la academia porque sino tendría que soportar lecturas banales y superficiales sobre porque se supone que es una obra maestra. No soy muy fan de The zone of interest pero que bueno que algo tan mediático como esa película estaba como elección.

Quisiera que tú estés atrapado en un lugar con temperaturas extremas durante más de 2 meses para ver si tu forma de reaccionar ante esa situación podría ser considerada como melodramática. Se supone que la película tiene que ser cruda para poder acercarse lo máximo a lo que ocurrió realmente. A mí me parece que explicarte todas estas cosas tan simples está muy por demás, y es que considero que solamente eres un tipo pretencioso con aires de superioridad que se cree un experto en cine tan solo por criticar algo que está en tendencia, lo más penoso de todo es que lo haces en un video reacción, cuando por el contenido de tu comentario perfectamente podías haberlo hecho en un video relacionado a los Oscars y a la nominación de la sociedad de la nieve.
