I had the opportunity this past June to go down to California and hang out with Eli and go to work with him. We had an absolute blast with pulling shenanigans and doing a 1300 stop route in this beast of a truck. As stated this dope truck was at one point run by LA but then ended up at E.J Harrison where it lives out its final days. Great job on getting Eli in the regular truck 248 my favorite was at 3:12 to 4:12 to see the inside of 248. Sadly after 8 months being out of service they finally took 248 apart so only 248 amrep octo ASL body is left now sense they will be reboding 248 amrep octo ASL body next year very greatful you were able to film Eli in 248 that day to where they let Eli use the regular truck 248 as a spare that day and allow you to ride along with Eli in 248 sense they normally don't allow ride alongs usually again great job on getting footage of Eli in 248 before 248 would pass away two months latter.
One hell of a video. I think this was honestly my favorite of the EX-LAs they had. I liked how it looked without the metal visor. Wish I had grabbed more footage of it when I found it.

Ex-LA? I don’t think I’ve ever seen LA trucks with a tag axle. But great video! I enjoyed this truck, and glad Eli ran it!

@@fs46 while youre right this one was originally a dual axle but like most of ej's trucks they did a custom extension to a tri axle and longer body. still the original la body
