ALSO for the “dont worry you and me wont be alone no more” part the chords are C/G, G (i think), Em and D. You pluck the C/G and Em chords, and strum the G and D.

I bought my guitar wanting to learn just for this song. I kept coming back to this tutorial and just made it through today- I'm slow but starting to sing along. it's very theraputic. also thanks for not saying there would be barre chords beforehand cause I think it would've scared me away, but instead I tried anyways since i was in too deep and the bm (I think it was) wasn't even so scary. thank you.

Thank you soooo much for this! I got a guitar for my birthday and decided this was going to be the first song I’d learn to play on it. So far it’s not too difficult, I have a little strings experience as I was in orchestra as a violin for a while. Already have the plucking part down! Thanks again, love your energy. You remind me so much of my old orchestra teacher

My middle finger automatically mutes the A string while doing the picking pattern. Absolute disaster. Anybody got any tips?

I’m sure it already feels like you are doing this, but make sure to keep your middle finger very curved- both knuckles bent! And you can even have the top of your middle finger stick up past the top of the neck to get it further away from the A string. But mostly it’s just going to take tons of repetition, and you’re going to need to put up with muted strings for a little while 😕

As much as I find the quirky ADHDness of this video annoying if does help me remember how to play the song better. Thanks, keep being annoying, I love it ♥️
