The way Richie ended up being the most loved character on the show because of the episode "Forks" is really something special. His character development was such a delight to witness and was done perfectly. I freaking LOVE this show 😭❤

Using T Swift I think shows how Richie is making every second count and living in the moment for the first time in who knows how long. If you remember earlier in the season he tells his daughter he needs a break from T Swift’s music. He’s going through the motions with everything in his life, even the most important thing, ever since Michael died. Now he finds purpose and is present with everything he’s doing, including listening and singing along with his daughter’s favorite music.

Richie's growth here is beautiful

Fun fact at 9:27 they are quoting the movie " The Blues Brothers".

I’ve been a bartender for a decade and a server for longer. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve known so many dudes like Ritchie over the years, but that episode is the best I’ve seen in a really long time.

13:40 it matters because he is discussing important business decisions with this person who may or may not be in his life when the restaurant is in full swing. it's one thing if she's his girlfriend and it's serious. it's another thing if it's just a fling. I totally see where Sydney is coming from in this situation.

7:17 Danny's long waterbottle is so distracting lmao, can we put a blur or sensor on it in the future (I think a one off of it being a long censor bar would be so funny)

4:43 (as a live long chicago pizza consumer) this places pizza is SO GOOD I don't like deep dish, it's a tourist thing in my opinion, but this place caramelizes the crust after making the pizza and gives it such an amazing smokey flavor (once again I don't even like deep dish) and I cannot recommend it enough

I watched the bear so randomly and really liked it for the first season and first half of season 2. But once I watched the flashback episode I loved it. And then I watched the episode and I was so happy for Richie and how far he came. Having this season start off with him questioning his purpose within the business only to find it in this episode was so fantastic.

This show somehow got me to rock out to a Taylor Swift Song.

whoever chose the crane wife 3 for ep 8 was absolutely diabolical. that shit hurted my feelings

Cutting the most important scene in this episode was an odd choice
