Sobat (Painda) || Traditional Delicacy of Dera Ismail Khan

In this video, we will be making a cultural and traditional food of KPK. A specific region in KPK which is called Dera Ismail Khan is famous for its Sobat or Painda. Sobat is a centuries-old dish, which is being made and eaten by people of Arab from centuries. Along with D.I Khan, a lot of other cities of Pakistan has now absorbed this culture and a lot of restaurants are offering this historical dish.
Written Ingredients:
Desi Chicken 1.3kg
Desi Ghee 1cup (240ml)
Onion 3lqrge (300gms)
Tomato 4large (250gms)
GArlic and Green Chillies PAste 2tbs
Black cardamom 2pieces
Green Cardamom 5pieces
Cumin 1.5tbs
Cinamon 3small pieces
Star Anise 3small pieces
Cumin Powder 1.5tsp
Coriander Powder 1.5tsp
Lemon Juice 1lemon
Curd 200gms
Salt 2tsp
Red Chilli Powder 2tsp full
Turmeric 1tsp
Water 3ltrs
Manay or Chapati As Required
Topping of Salad as Required
Utensils:
Any pot for Cooking Sobat
Tawa for Chapati
Mud Plate for Serving

Sobat/Painda is also very famous in Bannu and Lakki Marwat. I am from Lakki Marwat, we make it once in a week, and we call it PAINDHA. This recipe is authentic, everyone must try it.

@Zee Pak Yes, Sobat in Bannu is also very famous. If you ever come to Lakki, don't miss it. Different areas have different taste. It is popular in kpk, gaining popularity in pakistan too.
