Great video! Where do you sell the golf balls? What do you reckon your profit margin is per dive?

Thanks man. I sell them on social media sites and word of mouth. Unsure of profit margin as I do it more for the enjoyment and donated some of the money to a local cause. Really depends if there quality balls or not, but average around $0.40-$0.50 a ball(I sell them cheap)

How do you go about getting permission from the golf courses? I'd love to try this in the shallow hazards around me

I either email or call them explaining what I do, always offer to split the balls or pay per ball. (some I pay per ball/some let me keep whatever I find at no cost) I also have dive insurance to assure them if something was to happen, Im covered on my end. Theyll either say yes or no, so not much to lose..lol

Hi so when you diving and have person above water on the bank how do they no you need help if you in a situation and how do get you help

Good question! There instructed to watch my "bubbles" as to know where I am, if no bubbles, they should probably jump in to my last location and pull me up. Most all of the water is less than 6 ft. Also, to help with getting bags of balls out of the water and just overall being another source of safety. Can never be too safe.

Hello! I am from Hong Kong and as far as I know there is no people working as a golf ball diver. I wana know why would they let you collect the golf balls if they have underwater golf ball retriever? (Or they dont have one)

I bought it online. Believe its designed as a lobster bag. Lol.

regarding certification to dive, what kind of licensing do you need to do that?

I currently have an open water certification. And MUST be comfortable in water you cannot see in.

Got it on Amazon. Can search for "lobster bag" and should come up. Some dive shops also sell them.

Its typically doesnt cost me anything to dive at these courses.

are you ever worried about snakes or alligators giving you problems in the water

Snakes yes, have seen quite a few in the water. However no alligators where Im from. Things like that wont most likely bother people, so I tend to keep thinking of that when Im in the water..lol
