The good thing about German Shepards is they are highly trainable, very easily hand and voice trained with dedication and love. They want to do for you, so grow up and be the person they think you are 😊

My Rudy’s puppy teeth made the back of my hands bleed literally every day for the first six months of his life. Today, he’a 110 lbs of loving six-year-old GSD and he was worth every bit of effort, lack of sleep, patience, and love that we put into him as a puppy.

I love GSD lol thanks for showing people how to properly care for the babies. We need more people like you in this cruel world. All dogs are born good it just depends how we raise them.

My recommendation for anyone who wants to get any kind puppy is to only get one at a a time. If you get two at the same time, they bond with each other rather than their master, and then they tend to become partners in crime.

YES! They also should know what they’re getting. All too often people get dogs “because they’re cute” and don’t understand the characteristics and requirements of that breed. GSD’s are super smart and super athletic. They have to be stimulated mentally and physically or you could wind up with all of your shit torn up and an aggressive unsocialized dog. I see so many shepherd in shelters because people get them because they’re cute and have no idea what they signed up for.😳

exhausting little guys but sooo worth it. Mine had such awful sensitivity issues with about every food you could imagine, i had to wake up every two hours to let him out for potty for about 4 months until we found a diet that worked for him, he often lost control of his tum and id be doing bath-time at 3am with a poo filled kennel and absolutely covered pup nearly every night for that time frame, i had many friends tell me their actual babies weren't as difficult lol, i will say was the most challenging time ever but would never give that boy up for anything! best dogs ever.

I lost my 12 year old in February and now have a four month old. This video reminds me of the stress a new baby can bring. 😂

I lost my GSD of 12 years about a year ago. I want another puppy, watching this video brought back a lot of memories. Having a puppy is a lot of work. Most importantly with GSDs and any larger dog breed, it's very important to socialize them at a young age with other dogs and people.

Now I really want a puppy 🐶 ‼️❤️

Yep, when they are puppies, they are so cute. My DDR line GSD was very cute at 3 months, a year later, he turned into a 118lbs beast. These dogs need to be socialized from a very young age, so they don't rip someones leg off. Lots of training and attention, if you decide to get the greatest gift God could ever give you, make sure you know what you are getting into, they are a very intimidating breed.

@Diane Theisen I'm already a pet parent to a wonderful little terrier mutt! He's 12 and still going hard. I miss having a big dog though. Used to have a Rottie and foster them too. Moved to a condo with no yard after my pooch passed (16 years ago) but always wanted a GSD. Now, bigger house with a decent yard and my little terrier and I are always out adventuring somewhere in the city, so why not add one now?
