Your videos have been monumental in my learning process. I print CDs, stickers, pins, posters, and promotional materials for bands. You've greatly reduced my waste and cut the learning curve in half, resulting in a professional product in a timely manner which translates to happy customers and better profit margins. Thank you!

Question: What will be your recommendation for a printer for printing wedding cards? about 350gsm

If only text and graphics a small 4 color laser. Thick MEDIA sometimes will develop artifacts from print head strikes. Inkjet will not produce good results unless your card stock is actually designed for ink jet printing. It must be coated for inkjet printing.

FWIIW, For what It Is Worth, I have been using Precision Colors inks in my Canon Pixma Pro 100 since I have figured out that you have forgot more about printing than I will ever learn. Bought the newer inks as they replaced the original PC inks. Lately, for the second time, my yellow ink prints out red! the first time it happened, I though maybe I made a mistake. Now that it has happened twice, to the same color I am less inclined. Am I the only one to report this? Been a very happy ink customer otherwise.

Well have you run a nozzle check? Are you saying that where there should be yellow you see red. Meaning a contamination yellow with magenta? Since there is no red in the pc42se ink set that's the only thing I can think of.

@@cheo1949 Sorry, magenta. I look at magenta and I think red. Yes, I fill all of the carts at a one time, resetting the chips as I go. A day or two later I do a nozzle check, and the yellow is now magenta. I remove the yellow cart, and the bottom half of the sponge area is contaminated with magenta. The top half is yellow. I have a spare set of carts on hand, so I change out the cart with a freshly filled yellow cart, and do a deep flush or two, until my nozzle check shows yellow is yellow. Whenever 24 or more hours has passed since my last print, I do a nozzle check. Save a lot of A3+ that way. I'm wondering if you or people you know have had it deal with this?

Do you have to do this every time you change paper types?

No. It's to evaluate your printers performance before you begin using your own images. If you change to different papers you print through that papers ICC profile.
