Tbf being able to soar across buildings and constantly grapple boost your way across every single place incredibly fast will have you feeling like that, it's like playing a Spider-Man game after upgrading his swing mechanics to max, no matter how big the world is, it'll start to feel like it's shrinking ​@@JuanMora-xo4qy

Batman beyond game similar to snake eater or mgsv type gameplay would be very cool

Fun fact: The Arkham Trilogy was not only inspired by this game. It ONLY begun development because of its cancellation. This game had lots of potential but I think the arkham saga is a good tradeoff for its cancellation

Forget another Arkham game we need this dark knight game back in development cos imagine how amazing this game would look with today technology

Project Sabbath Batman game. The one with Damian Wayne. It was suppose to be the 5th installment with Nemesis system, but it got canned and we got Suicide Squad instead. I thought you were talking bout the same titlte. But one in the video is Monolith games and the other one Project Sabbath is by Montreal. So I guess that makes 2 canned Batman games(both included Nemesis system)

This could've been my dream Batman game...

The lack of cape could be its a similar deal to his suit in dark knight when he abducts lee from the skyscraper. If i recall its hidden then as its like a wierd hang glider deal almost.

tbh i didnt like the nolan suits too much, i like the body suits but the cowl just looked off for me. I think it should have resembled more of that arkham knight cowl.

Actually this seemed like it was gonna be for The Dark Knight Rises. The 2008 game was cancelled because that studio that was doing went broke and shut down

as an splinter cell fan and an batman fan this game would be my dream!!!!!

While ive heard of this game over the years, this is the first time ive actually seen it.. so thank you for making this video. It would be great if people took this unfinished game and made something with it. I also find it interesting how with it's death two other franchises i love were able to exist. Id love to see how certain batman villains wouldve been portrayed in the film's more... "Grounded and realistic" nolan film universe. Especially villains like Mr Freeze or Poison Ivy, who are so fantastical. Its also kind of funny to imagine that the nemesis and your player choices could technically mean that every little fight against a random goon could amount to it being their very own "origin story" Lol Anyway... Thanks for the great bit of batman gaming knowledge! Youve made a subscriber out of me!

tbh there is a difference between realistic and grounded. Like i have always hated how they tried to make batman realistic. Grounded is more of theoretical like is it in the realm of science that can it happen which is what is needed instead of realism. or they should have done magic realism

@@jmgonzales7701 while I see your point and agree to some extent, I think the "realistic" hook of the Nolan films worked well during their time. Would I have preferred a more comic accurate batman franchise with all sorts of outlandish villains and odds? For sure. But it's what we got as a trilogy immediately following batman and Robin, which DID stay comic book weird.. but the level of camp seriously harmed it. I haven't even seen the newest batman film. Not sure I want to honestly. It looks to be going for another "gritty realistic" vibe but with MUCH MUCH more angst. Thoughts? I'm cool with spoilers btw

Themetically nolan movies are great the only thing missing is the batman aspect which tbh i didnt like the nolan batman but everything is perfect also it could be grounded and it doesnt need the camp.

Makes me wonder if this was supposed to be a tie in game for The Dark Knight Rises since this game was cancelled in favor of Shadow of Mordor in which that game began its development in 2011.

Maybe we got nemesis system on that game. And they're using on shadow of mordor, and maybe the game will be successful than arkham asylum and arkham knight never come out.

Was Nolan approval really needed for this game? I mean, he's the director of the movie but just that, he doesn't own Batman or his version of the character as far as i know. Plus Batman Begins got a game and years later, The Dark Knight Rises got a mobile game by Gameloft which i kinda doubt Nolan gave his approval but who knows.

This is totally my opinion. When is in The Batsuit Batman should NEVER be a pugilist throwing haymakers. Save that MMA stuff for when he is the drifter in the daytime to differentiate for those higher-skilled fighters warriors who can put two and two together. It also showcases just how skilled of a warrior Batman is as he's a legendary S-TIER in that and intellectually. His fighting style is more the Eastern Asian in a mixture. From Japan with Karate, Judo, Aikido, Jujitsu, Kyujitsu, Kyudo, Okinawan Kobudo, Kenjutsu, and the 18 disciplines of Ninjutsu. Shaolin kung-fu and Wushu from China. Hapkido and Tae Kwan Do from Korea

This game was rerouted into arkam sylum.

looks cool or whatever but at the end of the day, we live in the good timeline. in the wake of this game's cancellation we got 4 games all varying degrees of good to great

i would not say it looks incredible, the setting looks really cool, but the gameplay is giving me a lot of tasm 1 and 2 video game vibes and we all know how those games turned out.
