I love your tutorials :) do you have a tutorial using a photograph and washi tape and adding a word using permanent vinyl letters?

thank you! I don't use vinyl letters... but the process would be same as the washi tape... for the photograph, sometimes you'll need to seal them first with a layer of varnish or mod podge before you pour resin over them.

Love them! Do you recommend coating your metallic edges with a layer of something to protect it or is it unnecessary? If so, what do you use? Thanks!

Ratio of the resin? I used a 1:1 medium viscosity

Tutorial on mixing glitter

Hi there. I absolutely love these and pretty much all of your work actually. I do have a question though. I am trying to recreate something similar using the glitter and varnish but it doesn’ seem to stick to the coasters when trying to paint it on. I’m using a different brand of varnish so maybe that might be the problem. Any ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks you :)

Hey, the varnish won't be sticky as you're applying it... but should adhere once it's dry... if yours isn't adhering, then yes, you may want to try a different varnish

I love this video, for some reason I always come back to watch it, it is soo calming. I do have 1 question which glitters are being used. I tried to figured them out and I know u called one champagne gold, but it didn't look like the one you used here. I have been wracking my brain trying to find the 2 you used. !

I use Krystal Resin from Canada...(there's a list under the description of the video above that has links to the products I use). I haven't tried many others... so I can't advise on that. There's a tutorial on my channel for how I finish the edges of my coasters😊

Sapphire Blue is discontinued.. you may be able to find similar from EyeCandy Pigments... Glitter is from Lrisy, holographic shards... you can just my code liadia15 for a discount

It's sapphire blue from DB Resin Products, but I believe it's been discontinued. You can try Eye Candy Pigments for a similar blue

When mixing glitter with varnish can do you use water based or oil based?

Both seems to work . They is to make sure the varnish is completely dry before you pour more resin on top... sometimes i wait over 24hrs for the varnish to dry...

With glitter u added resin also or only dura clear glass vanish

These are just stunning!! I am trying to do something similar and just can’t seem to get the peaks in nice lines. It just ends up looking like a globby mess. How do you get such nice definition on your peaks? Thank you for any advice you can give, I really want to master this as it’s such a beautiful technique.

Honestly it's just using a very small brush and taking the time to create the thin lines... which is why I prefer to use the varnish for this technique, no need to rush😊

yes i use the same resin for the entire coaster

Am I able to use Mod Podge dishwasher-safe gloss instead of the gloss varnish you mention to mix in with the glitter ✨

I haven't tried it.. but as long as you let it completely dry (I've sometimes waited 12-24 hrs for varnish to dry)... then I would think it would work... definitely try it😊
