i unpacked Magtheridon last night actually hehe 'RELEASE ME. I WILL GRANT YOU A MONSTER DISCOUNT"

It took me a sec to get the hang of this deck (I also pulled a GOLDEN RENO so I could play it) but this deck is really fun once you understand the play pattern. I am a bad player, and this deck got me to Platinum for the first time. (It's not a major accomplishment, I know, but it is for me)

Ive played a couple of times against this deck before the nerf. Unless you are playing hand buffed minions or heavy health minions, I would just surrender if they hit Magtheridons early on the board.

Magtheridon unreleased, just in terms of artwork and his play animation, just nailing this exspansion 😊 I also love the demon/mech miniontype from Ashes of Outland in which we cant get enough of….. Any imp scrapyard art lovers anyone?

The funny thing is that I was hyped when I got Magtheridon as my first legendary, but he isn't even played in his own deck LOL! That just seems like insane game design. Is there a Raging Felscreamer/Magtheridon deck that works? I have hardly any DH legendaries.

Found myself in a similar situation at the start of the expansion. I have had success (70% wr over 80ish games) with what I call "sleepy dh". Hard run maggy with inquisitors (no shopper) and tutor+discount the big boys. Then, set up red cards and dormant locations to create endless maggy or set up multiple inquisitors to end the game (generally better, but a little less fun). Early game will be tough (as this is basically a combo deck), so ensure you have cheap board clears and draw, as well as some healing. Hope you find something you like (even if it isnt this)!

I played a bit of Reno Demon Hunter on day 1 to great success and then I couldn’t win any games with it after. I’m glad to see it’s doing so well! It was very fun to play.

Agree, I was surprised it worked that way...

As I was telling my friend, Magtheridon is a pretty shit 8 mana card... but it's a hell of a 3 mana card.

Some of the most fun DH has been in a long time

So I built this deck and I very rarely get magtherodons like 1 in 5 window shoppers

@@chiefkelly Yes, when magtheridon is dormant at end of turn deals 3 to all enemies. So if you re-dormant it the effect triggers.

The aggro version of the deck is just better and cheaper for anyone considering dust

i have played 7 games and havent discovered a single Mag

I'm surprised, and don't know the design philosophy on why they would have such a small the demon pool for discover effects in Demon Hunter. Like this deck does not survive future expansions if they publish just a few more neutral demons.

Im surprised the HL version is bring said to be the best version when the weapon + demon is the best synergy of the archetype. Wouldn't players want that consistency more than HL payoffs? Doesnt mean im not gonna try it though lol 👀

As a DH main, I love this deck and genuinely enjoy the mirror. There's tons of room for counter plays. 🎉

Ive played this deck a few times, played shopper 4 or 5 times. Havent seen mag once 😂 had to turn off after seeing it twice in the first game

and here I thought I found the most toxic deck on the ladder earlier today, a full freeze mage. As an Odin warrior I wanted to rip my hair out since I was frozen for 6 turns IN A ROW. Still ended up winning by the skin of my teeth, but holy hell was it frustrating. I wanted to get the decklist but the guy wouldn't add me after the game.

Wheellock - ur argument is invalid. Between constant taunts and stupid levels of survival - its bae. Literally got kicked to 2 health against the magg DH thing - still won. I dusted my Magg actually, I really dont like DH, but ofc when I dust things - blizzard takes that as a cue to humble me don't they. So far I see a LOT of this deck, but ppl aren't playing it very well - or the whole "turn eight, ya dead" thing is too much. Only loose to hunter because the current token tempo thing is just..... sooo fast. Also highlander warrior still works well, which is weird. Odyns ded tho. and dusted. Might be the year reset or me coming back from a longer break. But is HS really fun right now or what? Like it feels as if the meta has a lot of options.

I don't care how good demon hunter gets. I hate the class and dust every card. I literally have 25 wins with DH and hundreds with every other class.

Yeah, I am definitely pretty happy with the results. I thought it might take a while to get up to the 30,000 view range, but it was basically instant. I'm hopeful both channels can actually improve the views per respective game without dragging each other down. I'd love to see Snap at 70k+ and HS at 50k+ regularly. Honestly Snap is already close to that, so maybe even higher. But that's just goals, I'm quite content with where we're at now. Staying level is a goal too, with older games in a genre like card games, it's not the most explosive for growth.

These are all great deck ideas. Except they all do nothing against blizzards rng manipulation. 4 weeks of several 50 loss loss streaks against the same perfect hands while the game deliberately sabotages my draws. I'm done. Eff Blizzard. It's cool to see the game how it is supposed to be. It just isn't against Dk especially drawin perfect. Haven't had one 20 games without turn 1 weapon -> turr 4 7 plagues , on curve hellya into titan AND if I play hunter, they get all aoe in hand. Fun? Not. being hardstuck at plat 10 witnessing the insanest RNG..... not fun, not going to spend money when tilted.

@@darklurkerirl6101"Just unlucky"... yeah, sure. 4 months in a row to absurd degree. If Activision hadn't filed that patent application, I actually maybe would still cling to that. And the funny thing is, it works "reasonably fine" on US with a younger account, too. But on two different EU accounts it's just unreal in the full sense of the word. So that's what I'm sticking with. Unreal.

@@theholk I am from EU and had multiple accounts. Never felt like that lol. I play MTG on Arena and FNM too tho. Infact, funny thing is Escape from Manor Karlov was so unfun I switched to HS more for 4 months now.

If you saw the games I have had almost exclusively (and the shift when it does give you some wins every 2 hours between those two states) you'd see it differently. If any game not cursed from the start is a 45 minute game of madness with YOUR legendaries in the bottom 7 despite 2 gaslighters while they play on curve, you start to not believe in luck. I don't get how they never have their hand locked but DO have all their expensive cards on curve. Statistically they should at least SOMETIMES not have their plays the way I never have.
