This is Weapon Rogue (56% WR) with Deafens and Gear Shifts cut for Bloodsail Raiders, Goldbeard and an extra Instrument Tech. It should still be actually viable. As much as anything suboptimal is viable in a fresh meta with several Tier 0 decks.

I was playing this combo with Reno and only the combo pieces. Worked pretty well as a setup but it struggled to get significant durability and power on the weapon with mostly singleton.

Im glad to see this combo, i haven't been thrilled with the expansion.

Post-patch, I was hopeful that some version of this deck might be viable. I am convinced this list is not optimized. Not running dig for treasure and raiding party seems like an error. I replaced mic drop and instrument tech to fit those 4 in after having some bad matches in 5K legend with your list. We'll see how it goes.

It's effective in long game scenarios but crumples to aggro or even midrange if you don't have RNG on your side. Also weak against Warrior/Druid that stacks armor.

The Sonya/Dehydrate interaction was interesting.

What is the idea behind running instrument tech instead of raiding party?

I was recently on the receiving end of an extremely random and freaky Goldbeard OTK that was perfectly generated by the excavate shaman opponent's murloc, who managed to get it alongside the constellation card. Did an average human being actually get the one in a zillion dream, or was he a cheating bot, or was the game rigged or something? Still can't stop thinking about it to be frank.

Zog does work like that. It's "Your Hero's Attack" and "Armor gained this turn," instead of "Your Hero's Attack and Armor gained this turn." The wording is just awful.

@@amethonys2798 It doesn't feel like wasting buffs is a smart thing to do. This deck is not designed to be used by someone who plays card just because it's highlighted green. You need to bait out viper if you're playing against control style deck and build bigger weapon the turn after. If you have no idea how to do it, don't play this deck, it's a waste of time.

@@MachinegunnerMugZ except you also need to actually apply preasure since the "control" decks that are likely to viper you are also probably killing you by turn 10. You are never winning the game against Warrior, DK, or Priest with a 7 attack weapon.the Also, even IF you hold buffs for Viper to play the turn after it is still a "free" skip turn from the opponent for you to rebuild the weapon since it costs 4 and half the buffs cost 3 mana....
