I went to the Don Quijote in Shibuya and was so surprised how big it was! They sell everything and anything!

I need so many of these items omg I want the pastel seifuku and maid outfits

cute!! i really really wanna go there someday because honestly i Need those bunny ears and all the adorable maid outfits and seifukus ^^

What are the prices like in there? Cheap or super expensive? I’m on exchange and it’s winter holidays and this place looks amazing. Would it be worth the trip all the way to Akiba?

Akiba is fun to visit for an afternoon or evening (I'd suggest evening, if you can't decide, since most stores are open until at least 8pm and you'd probably prefer to be outside doing other things during the afternoon). Don Quijote stuff was just regular prices IMO. Not super cheap like Daiso but definitely affordable. I was amazed at how many of the seifukus were only about 2,500 yen or 3,000 yen. Stuff like shoes, maid uniforms, Bodyline stuff are the usual cosplay prices but nothing crazy expensive. Expect to drop $40-$50 on a maid uniform for example.

Wow I had no idea that don Quixote carried Bodyline and cosplay stuff! I visited the one in Osaka but it was so crowded that I only checked out one story of the building. It was still a great experience though! 😊

It's only the Akihabara branch that sells all that cosplay and Bodyline stuff, as far as I'm aware. :) So you wouldn't have seen it on your Osaka visit. It's a special floor on this specific DQ store I think. The same floor had the maid café we ate at!
