Interesting fight. Not used to seeing medium settlement size. Again army comps matter. In this case javis R Us. The other thing that eventually won the game was the ballistae. Could you imagine if there was one for each attacker firing on a medium settlement? It would be gg. Here is a good example not to bring high costly pikes as defense: you have archers or slingers, ballistae and lots of spear units with javi capability plus medium settlement equals pikes would be destroyed pretty fast. Defenders did a very good job holding though. Music and commentary is great. Tips tricks are great especially the one to walk along the edge the walk away to try to surround or get behind your opponent. Keep these sieges coming even if it’s Joes favorite settlement burdagala lol.

Hmm yes it was really nice seeing some variety to the army comps, but if you want to do like elite hoplite army, maybe bring athens, syracuse or Sparta instead of baktria, seleucid etc, because the former faction’s elite hoplites have that 8 AP Spear, thus allowing kills to be made

Totally agree not the right factions to use for an elite hoplite comp but still a very fun and interesting choice with the other Hellenic factions. Maybe should’ve brought some swords tho

I ( epirus) attacked in the center and in the left of the map! I charged my Ilyrian levies so late because i was using the troops in the center to fire jevellins on the defenders on my left, and my troop on the left to fire at the defenders in the center. And later when they were done i charged in. This is something Joe did not see thats why it seemed strange to him but my final kill count shows that :) And i always used my general to freshen my Royal Pelteas. thanks so much for the coverage.

I saw the javelin volleys going into the troops from left to right and center, etc. Was kind of waiting for some good volleys from a close flank, true brutality of the Murder Sticks!

Honestly speaking I was expecting an Elephant Gen from the Seleucid army with the units they brought, but after seeing the Shield Bearer Gen I realised that I was thinking about Rome Total War Seleucid and not Rome 2... Can't see how I confused the two?
