Should try out the Leica X-T5. I’m really happy with that model! 😂😂
It is so satisfying to see someone so happy with what they are doing, just melts my heart
Another great video! Great laughs as well. “Someone who cries at the sight of rocks” had me rolling.
I use a Leica a7s3 for all my video work, it's great...the dynamic range in LlogL3 is great

Imagine a week of that humor... ou may not feel your lips, but I can't feel my jaw from smiling xD
My main camera is a Hasselblad, though people keep insisting its a Nikon D800
My man James living my dream life. Being out there, in nature. Taking photos, with friends.
It's funny how "things" come together. I have been following you three for years as individual photographers because you - combined - cover the full spectrum of my interests in landscape photography.....both due to yours individual skills as photographers and your ways of presenting it with humor, enthusiasm and insight. And now you are playing around together as an joined force....it doesn't come better than that...thumps up
Welcome to the club! My Leiica R5 is amazing.
I grew up in Porthleven, some of the storms there have been pretty incredible. February is usually a good time to visit for the rough seas. The outer harbour is literally like it's boiling as the sea can be so rough there. Those wooden beams that block the entrance to the inner harbour sometimes get washed out to sea and recovered once things have calmed down.
Your eye is so good! Love the images you produce! Makes me want to walk through town and shoot! Thanks for your amazing content
Might just mess around and convert all my Sony gear to Arri. Thanks for the idea James, you've just saved me countless units of local currency, as well as given me the chance to shoot on an industry leading cinema camera brand all at the same time. What a time to be alive 😂
If I can find a large enough label maker I'll be driving a Porsche! Great video!

I think I'm gonna get a “Leica” soon! Thanks for this idea! HOW have I not thought about this before!
Always a joy to watch you. You got me starting to play with handheld and I actually enjoy it
Haha you got me hook, line and sinker. I saw those photos at the start and thought, wow, he has gone to Leica; they look incredible, maybe I need a Leica. 😂

This video has made me realise how much I miss Cornwall & want to go back so much, Porthleven especially. That cafe you were in does the best I’ve cream & pizzas I’ve ever had & the whole town is so photogenic 👌
Amazing Video James! really see your joy in shooting photos in this one! Makes me want to go out and shoot! Cheers!
Well James, if you wanted to get the full Leica experience and quality, you would need to find a red sticker too. That's where the photography is.
Enjoyed your video lots! Bought your presets today to show continual support!
Bought a Canon 5d mark ii as my first camera ever. Today it arrived and obviously I tried it out a little bit and I definitely have a big learning curve in front of me but u were one of the channels to get me into photography. Great shots greetings from Germany

@@Aceton_ awesome! Pick up a cheap zoom sometime. Hopefully you are getting a kick out of it! What helped me learn the camera is shooting in low light. When you shoot in low light, you sometimes have to manually adjust shutter speed, aperture and sensitivity to ensure you get a good shot and make it look how you want it to look. Make sure you give it a go! And try to use aperture priority. Av it might be on Canon. It's been a while since I have used one. The lower the number, the brighter the image and the blurrier your background. Once you get a feel for aperture, everything falls into place. Oh and sometimes on cameras that old, it is best to set a single autofocus point, the center, aim that at your subject, and let it focus, then re compose the shot. That helped me a lot in the early DSLR era. But that is for later! Enjoy playing around! Good choice of camera and lens for playing!
@Aceton_

@@funkmon Thank you for all the tips I already have done the single focus point and know what all the stuff aperture shutter speed white balance iso etc does thanks to watching probably about 50hours of tutorials and 6hours or so about the 5d ii until I bought it. Knowing what the settings do is great but I really have to get a feel for the camera so I need to go out and shoot. I can't wait untill Saturday because this will be the first day I am able to shoot.

my first camera was a Canon 5d Mark II with a 50mm! I loved that camera! Congrats on your first camera, hope you have a blast with it!
Glad you have enjoyed sampling our West Cornwall autumnal weather James. It's always dramatic and this is typical of the weather from October to April here. It does get a little wearing at times! I look forward to more videos from here. Funily enough, I almost did the Leica labelling with my Lumix cameras when I used them as many of the lenses were Leica.
The secret of legendary Leica microcontrast and color science is chill background music
Congrats on 200k, James! Thoroughly deserved
honestly i LOVE your page it makes me feel so calm !!
I literally spit my coffee out when I saw LYKA! Good one, James!
Superb 😊 another great video 👍🏻

oh i use a Leica Plus Nord 2! it has a phone build inside, camera kinda interesting but not highly suggested, phone on the other hand for being the first ever phone from leica works quite great! it calls and send messages
Great video... Preset's purchased, thanks :-)
Loving your work!
That was great fun! Looking forward to the real Leica stuff.
Excellent, love this James! If i was n’t already subscribed I would be now. As a man who sold his M10R and lenses to go back to the Fuji XT system (plus an accidental x100v) but is now fighting a Q2 urge, I appreciate this!
Drives me crazy the Lyka Instax is sold out everywhere. Your endorsement really put that already legendary cam over the top.
Hey James- thanks for the discount on the presets…on well a purple Sunday sale. Took loads of coast photos today and can’t wait to try the “clothes” out! _Cheers!_
Loving these videos between the 3 of you , your shots are so much better with your Leica A7 😉 , love Cornwell
That was hilarious. And awesomely. And all three of you together is even more special.
Brilliant and very funny video, James. The Images are absolutely stunning. 😍
Loving your aproach to photography
I'm going to do this whenever I start fawning over another brand!
Brilliant photos!
Weeping over a beautiful pasty I can understand
Congrats on the 200K
That's indeed a lovely photo of the dog walker taking a photo of the wave :) Superb photos of these rock formations in the sea! You had such a gorgeous light. Cheers !
Hey James, I also shoot with Leica a7R lll and Leica Z6 cameras. There really is something about that Leica look.
Once you held a Leica M … so much photography fun 🎉🎉🎉
You are only allowed to put Leica on Sony lenses if you put Minolta on the bodies first. And if putting a boutique name on a sony camera you use Zeiss
Good one sir!
OoOoOOhhhh he fancy now. Lovely shots throughout mate.
It’s amazing when you get that feeling
Considering that I cry at the exact same moments in Pixar movies, knowing each time it’s coming, you can imagine what happens while I’m editing my couples photo and video stories 😳🥹🫢 Your photos and videos are always inspiring and entertaining so… have a good weep my friend. You deserve it 🥹😅🥹
James the photos at the stack are some of the best landscape photos I've seen in years my friend. my word what beauty, amazing what switching to leica can do. wow.
Those photos were straight up bangers. What an amazing place
Dude, you're fantastic
Really good episode😂 and my god the photography this place offers! Admittedly I am jealous.
Hey James, awesome video and congrats on 200k! Could you by any chance share a link to that camera lamp on your desk?
good imagery James, very informative 11mins.
Don't worry James, a lot of wind makes my cry too ;-) Another interesting video, thanks for sharing.
Wow, really liked the lighthouse one with the spray that water looked Gorgeous too
Excellent video James. Just got Lands End, a gale and enormous waves.
Here I was, all ready to welcome you to L mount 😆
Damn, only £500.000 presets! Nice save now that I've spent $€£ upgrading to a Leica A7II, Leica GRIII, Leica SRT101 and Leica X-700 to go along with my Leica M3 lmao!
200k subs, and I still have No.1's of a few of your prints. Still enjoy the content.
I have the same beanie as James, so that's pretty cool. Maybe I should also turn my Lumix G9 into a Leica G9.
my grandma lived in porthleven spent a lot of summers down there. Lovely place and really photogenic
I actually use a Lyka EOS M50, works great but for some reason only takes Canon lenses
i wish one day i can take such nice pics
James What a great idea I think heaven forbid I'll convert all my Pentax Cameras to PENTAX in bold lettering in front of the camera
Magical place. And very true about (street) photography, pick a nice fishing spot and work the composition in stead of only hunting around.
My home County. I have taken pictures there over the last 30 years on and off. Porthleven needs a decent Easterly storm or I wouldn't bother! All of Cornwall makes me well up :) Nice one James.
apparently they are bring out a new Leica called the Nex-5. Exactly the same as the original but apparently nostalgia sells.
I lost track of your channel name and was not subscribed and found it by typing (photography no tripod) I am subbed now lol
Thanks for the Leica video! Looks sick
Those rock photos were weep-worthy, I'd say..
That's my bench your sitting on !
As someone who doesn't very often stand still, I second the advice for hanging around at one spot for awhile. I'm probably not one to listen to for advice but it worked for me. On one occasion. It was hard though.
this guy deserves at least 2x the subs he has. quality right here.
I never knew I had so many Leicas. Leinon, Leinasonic, Leimpus, Leigma, and a Leiphone of course
I guess it's safe to say you're not a minimalist lol What's your camera collection look like now?

I bought your presets at msrp. Still great bang for the buck.
I love your Leica A7R Mark IV :)
“The beauty of a breaching Orca” 😂😂😂 Love Cornwall for photography 😎
I loved the video, loved the images and the desk camera/lamp so much that I made one for myself from broken Zorki 4, which is obviously based on Leica 🤣
I just got the Leica FX30, it's everything I ever wanted! The craftsmanship, the simplicy of the single shot electronic shutter, it's everything I ever wanted, and it reconnects me the the purity of photography!
Ahh, nice to see my neck of the woods seen through someone else's lens. I live in Sennen and shoot the surrounding area a lot, in particular the beach. The rock stack at Lands End is called The Armed Knight.
Click bait title--AND I LOVED IT!!!!
Lucas’ Pawpaw balm is a winner James, as are the images of Cornwall. What a photogenic place. Here am I stuck in Victoria 🇦🇺 with only the Great Ocean road and the Grampians and the Black Spur and….hang on, I’m going out shooting.
I’ve been enjoying my Leica IIIx
Hehe, bit of fun, but love the images, that sea is stunning
James! I can’t say thank you enough for all that I have learned watching your videos. This video made me chuckle quite a bit. Partially because of the comedic value, but also partially because I just picked up a Leica D-Lux 7 (which is really just a Panasonic). I guess we both have cameras with a fake Leica badge 🫣. Anyway, I noticed that my perspective on photography started to change after watching your videos. I have only been into this hobby for a few months and found myself guilty of taking pictures of things, not about things. Now I hear your voice in the back of my head every time I am framing up a shot. “What story at I telling.” It has changed the images that I produce immensely. Also, like most amateur photographer, I found myself chasing after gear. Dropped $2000 on the newest Fuji camera. Must say that it is a wonderful piece of machinery, fully capable of producing high detail shots of random shit that doesn’t mean anything (if I’m not paying attention). Spending money on things instead of memories all in the pursuit of less noise and higher resolution. That leads me to the next thing that I learned from you… if you have enough time to notice the lack of resolution or amount of noise in my photograph, then I have failed to do my job as a photographer. Sound familiar? It also goes through my head every time I’m trying to worry about settings or getting my ISO low enough so that I don’t get too much noise in my shot. I’ve been trying to worry less about stupid shit like that and more about making sure I’m taking pictures that are going to make people ask questions. Thank you for all the amazing content and all of the hard work. I hope that you, your wife, and your child are well these holidays. Keep killing it, mate!
