Lol no joke these might actually be some of the best RX cars in simracing , prefer it over the VW in iracing and the RX in Dirt Rally2 - The buggies / cross cart though are still way better in AC than AMS2

Am I the only one experiencing massive crackling sounds on some of the cars in AMS 2 and when going into pause menu sometimes?? It is not as massive than in RF 2, but in PC 2 for example I don't notice it at all and it is the same engine. I even here it on AMS 2 KZread videos...damn Windows 😞

It’s always been fun and in VR it’s beautiful. The best thing is that the developers keep working on it and updating it.

AMS2 is getting better month by month !

Have been so much enjoying the new updated physics, will have to purchase this DLC! Reiza has been cooking recently, can't wait to see the LMDH and LeMans from them!

Absolutely brilliant action there. I would endorse a full subsciber series of races on AMS2, but as soon as Le Mans is released I fully advocate an all-star race between yourself and other KZreadrs - I'm talking Chris Haye, the Broadbented One, Aidan Millward, GPLaps, Jardier, the whole gang.

Played this with a mate this evening after your suggestion. He told me he couldn't stop smiling. We did the same cars but on Cascavel.

Won an endurance race in the Beetle on iRacing at Watkins Glen. Odd ball multi class race but it was super fun driving that combo! Now I have to buy AMS2. 😂

So the best way to not notice the slidey physics is to drive car and track combos that should be slidey.

Eric race, need to try this! Have really been enjoying AMS2, especially after the update. Also had a lot of fun with the Racing Life companion, have been doing some Copa Classic races in the Puma on some Brasilian tracks the last few days and really have enjoyed the different experience. Looks beautiful too. But this was fun to watch.

Can't wait for the community races for this type of combo!

For more ACC like cam: go to the menu---- camera settings---- movement Test: High Speed Shake -- OFF; Head Movemenent -- 0 ; use legacy head movement --- yes; all geforce related fx to "0"; hf

That's litrally just lock to car which is the default for most Sims and will cause lots of people eye fatigue and motion sickness for many people due to the fact in real life eyes filter lots of bumps out and in real life you feel forces for every movement as asposed to being totally static. The issue with the AMS2 cam is that lock to horizon cam doesn't work properly on any track with a slope and it also has no neck filter like iracing for example. I have made a video explaining this.

The only think that could make this better is if you could add a few jumps to the tracks. I've always wanted to do that with the trophy trucks on iRacing. I just ordered a new PC and I can't wait to get back into AMS2 in VR now that I'll be able to crank the settings.

Automobilista 1 had Stadium Supertrucks, where regular race tracks had a few jumps added to them. Rumor has it that similar content might make it into AMS2 in a later Adrenaline Pack… should be possible to race RX cars on such tracks then 🙂

@@RoarMcRipHelmet I'd love stadium super trucks. Been hankering for some of that action since stumbling across the series on youtube a few years back. Such entertaining races. At first glance I thought it was just pure showbiz entertainment but those guys are really racing hard.

I don't sound like that! 😂 I only mentioned that its getting there physics wise as before this patch it was really bad and I would have been affectionately known within the Reiza community as a "hater". I do know what you're saying though, this should already be better than the 10 year old games I mentioned last video.

Lol I don't mean it in a mean way , its just the general thing of people clapping sims on as if its ok they are worse than stuff from decades ago , its like when companies lower a bar so much that the new improved thing is hailed as amazing when its actually worse over all but people are conditioned / ankered by the last thing.

I haven't watched a GM video for a while so it was nice to see you again.

Rallycross in PC2 was amazing so I was not surprised that it turned out so well in AMS2. The AI on the rallycross tracks in AMS2 still needs a lot of work though and I did encounter some bizarre physics when I pushed over the limit. It's a great start but right now I still prefer PC2 and Dirt Rally 2 for rallycross. Try the Focus RX on the Boa Ascent track in PC2, it's honestly is the most fun I've had in any sim. Especially in VR it's a real rollercoaster.

Some racing sims are very serious and it can be draining trying to be competitive. Sometimes you just want to "F" around and have fun. That's where Gamer Muscle shines.

RX cars were great in PC2 too. :) Especially on snowy tracks, snow was maybe the best thing in that imo really great game. :)

@@GamerMuscleVideos maybe, but my favorite car was definitely the Clio Cup. :) I played now 3000+ hours with ACC, but still miss the slower Clio head-to-head races with the huuuuge slipstream effect. :) That was pure fun.

RX on the Go-Kart tracks. Sort the gear ratios out and this is awesome on the Nordplace...

rally cross is so fun, I built a few for rF1 just so I could be will gallop in the 6r4 metro 😃🏁

What really changed with version 1.5 is that you can correct the car once it srarts sliding...what i was expecting that is not there is the correction of the physics when yoh go off the track..it still feel like you are driving on ice instead of feeling the ground beneath your car

The cars are always in massive slides though and it was easy to catch slides in all of the versions of AMS2 , relative to most other Sims as everything happens really slowly in AMS2

GM I too am folicaly challenged and I still race on project cars 2, mainly because I play on console.

It's a 50-50 diss, I ain't taking da piss, If ya wanna have some fun, Just listen to this. Try out da rallycross in Automobilista, It's seriously fun, what ya waitin' for mista? Now don't drive da cars on a designated track, Just pick something else and start right at the back...

Plus with AMS 2 we don't have to pay some silly monthly fee to race in the game. I would never subscribe to IRacing. Plus we are getting great updates all the time for AMS 2 and we can get many free mods for the game. IRacing you have to pay for everything far as selecting track and car content.

If you do this with the community I'm in 100%, get those elbows out and shoulders rubbing

Now put on the a Wet track and then the true fun begins. I was expecting thats what you were doing here since its the first thing I tried because its similar to Project Cars 2 in the snow which was the most fun you can have on a racing game. So go put the track on wet and try again good ol chap.

It looks like the cars handle like the original race driver grid game. Nice and arcadey which is nice for a change and a laugh.

The custom ffb rfcktr 1.5.x.x , I couldnt get to like it properly, somehow 1.3.x.x with my csl dd and previous cheap wheel was completely different and I liked it way more than the new ones. For all the cars you tried the handling, did you test the stock cars (2019/2023 etc) yet? Even pre 1.5 it was like driving a different sim (cant test now, 2000 miles away from the rig 😅)

@@tabs1913 I'd argue my view is probably probably less arbitrary than the average AMS2 / specifc game fanboys view. Due to being lucky enough to experience race cars driven at speed and the fact that I know people that own race cars and are fast drivers who would absolutely take the piss out of me even more than usual if what I said was total bollox.

Its almost like I make videos on what I happen to be playing ... and also wait for it , almost like I can't make videos about stuff when I'm in a plane / traveling around. Lots of stuff has come out for AC nice mods Shader patch god knows what , also FS 2024 news. strangely I can't just pump out billions of videos whilst also doing 10 hour live streams every other day.

God knows what I was dreaming this morning but I woke up with this video title going round and round in my head: "7 Outfits to Wear While Sim Racing This Summer". I felt like this needed sharing. I'll leave the rest to you Good luck!
