I must have listened to this 50 times and it still gets me every time. How this petite woman has the stamina to sing this song, at this intensity for 7 minutes or so is staggering. As well as being a beautiful lady, she has a beautiful heart..... there are not enough people like Sohyang in this world............ and she is quite possibly the best female singer alive!

Omeezy, it is almost futile to try and describe how great Sohyang is. There is no other female singer in the world that is on the same level as she is. She can go up and down the scale of her accessible voice, which is more than four octaves, with such consistency and smoothness that none of us can tell where one part of her voice ends and the others begin. And her voice is the most beautiful we've ever heard. She seems to be custom made by God to be a singer. And what a tough and resilient person she is. She has gone through more at age 45 than most of us, I hope(!), will ever go through in a lifetime. Sometimes we call her the original Energizer Bunny--she goes on and on and on ... I mean she must get tired, she is only human, but you will seldom see it unless she is really sick. All this from a tiny 5 foot 4 inch 100 pound woman. I don't know if Sohyang truly comprehends how much joy she brings into this world with her singing every day. 🤷‍♂👽🛸💘

@@omeezythagreat Sohyang has no control over how long a block on her reactions will last. The South Korean copyright holders and broadcasters are at least as bad as anywhere on this planet. But please keep going with her. She is basically the master singer of planet Earth on the female side of the equation. We never get tired of her for some reason. And Sohyang has stated that when she has some spare time she likes to watch videos like yours. So she may be sitting back and smiling at what you are doing from her home in Incheon right now!

Sohyang’s live performances are better than the studio version of other singers. How long was this song? She can maintain such intensity throughout the seemingly never-ending song. She sings flawlessly despite constant pneumonia. Her voice is out of this world that people are tearing up at every Sohyang performance. I think my search for the best woman vocalist may have ended with this performance.

It’s not a competition as we know it. All the artists involved are already established so it’s not really a competition where there’s a recording contract or a sum of money involved. There is a ‘trophy’ but some artists have won it many times because the artists participating all come from the same pool so although the theme of the show changes from programme to programme, the artists involved are often the same.

Let's go to her "Monarisa" from the Korean tv show, Masked singer. She is singing rock!!! And if you are interested in Korean rapper, i recommend you SUGA(a.k.a Agust D), a rapper in BTS. His solo single, "Daechwita" will be new experience. If you had no prejudice for another culture, you would meet an awesome beat and flow! : ) (Daechwita is the term for the Korean traditional music played when the King and his army march)
