Actually a Norwegian/Irish song from the pop-duo Secret garden. But indeed a beatiful version by Sohyang; she kills it and makes it here own.

Sohyang is as real as it gets,she is not about fame or fortune.she is 20 plus years thousands of hours of training

She gave everything she got and completely spent at the end. As you've said, there no fake or pretense here, just pure emotions from the bottom of her heart. This is one of the most moving performances you'll ever experience.

yeah!, one of the most amazing performances she's done..!, you're absolutely right!, she's singing what she is believing and we can see her how big her faith specially in this song, but when you watch her more you realize she's about the song and nothing else, she becomes the song, and very sincere about the emotions, you can tell she only sings the songs that are valuable to her and meaningful, also when she does a rearrangement of a song, you feel the song's emotions(lyrics) emphasized even the parts that are not highlighted in the original. SoHyang is a truly amazing artist and very beautiful human being...! she's should have been named as one of the National Treasures of South Korea.

Insane. Sohyang is insane...ly good!💖 The stamina. The support. The dynamics. It's dizzying. 😵 On top of all that, the emotion.😭 Just WOW!

Sohyang is a true vocal beast here (I think it’s her largest range in any one song: F3-Bb5-Eb6), and she puts an unbelievable amount of emotion on display. Not to mention her stamina to belt out such high notes for over 7 minutes. One of the best performances from anyone ever. Next you should check out “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and “Lean On Me.” They’re both English covers and are both incredible vocal feats.

So Hyang Not sure it the F3 here is supported, but it’s impressive that her supported range is so large and that she almost always stays within in it (F3-C#6-F6 at best).

"Her Journey ... Her Truth ... Her Gift to us ALL!" She is truly inspirational as someone who has confronted so much adversity and come through the other side! Beautiful soul, beautiful singing, So Hyang is a true Angel

She has recorded an A6, but has been said to be able to go up to a E7. But you are right... that G5 range is where she spends a lot of time, and I do not now of another singer who can stay up there as long as she does, come dawn and go back up and stay again. She is a one of a lifetime singer.

I love her and her songs and have watched countless reactions but yours is the best. Seems like you've got many great talents yourself but you're so humble too. Yesss ! Best choice of performance you did there !! Absolutely astounding arrangement , vocals and stamina ! I was out of breath just watching it XD I also had tears and goosebumps all over... , please make sure to react to her "You raise me up" performance, that day there was one of the original singing band members watching her as well, he was very impressed !

I've watched this hundreds of times and she can still make me cry. And the amount of belt time in that song is just crazy... 6 minutes out of an 8 minute song? She is my Queen. One performance I'd like to recommend is "The Day Sunshine Kissed Me ". Sohyang wrote that song about the day she met Jesus when she was 18. Not only is it beautiful, but she just glows when she sings it. There are some singers who have a high note like her. When they hit such a high note, i was shocked. But they just surprised me. Sohyang? She makes me feel exactly the same thing what she feels now. She is great not only she can hit high note, but also she delivers her full emotion and takes all listners to her place(with perfect technique)🧡 please listen her 'you raise me up' from the same tv show(2018). Yes, these are the true gems from Sohyang plus Saldaga and Where Are You. For Christians, The Day Sunshine Kissed Me is a song written by her about the day she fell in love with Jesus. Love the song dearly as well.

But I have a request that you react to her closest and best friend, “Park Ki Young”, I like Park Ki Young because they have about the same vocal range but Park Ki Young is a tad more versatile and can belt them with equal emotional impact and power in rock, pop, soul, jazz flamenco, and classical ( opera). A few of my favorites that are worthy of reacting to: ( either privately or publicly) KZread: “I dreamt I dwelt in Marble Halls” ( 5:02 duration. A rare hidden gem that she performs the way it was intended to be performed : as an opera in English. Anya’s Version is the standard but sung as a ballad but Park Ki Young opera style takes you to church and beyond. This was an operetta from 1834 Called “ Bohemian Girl” Dame Joan Southernland is the standard-not Anya. But Park Kiyoung Version ( being a vocal coach) will excite you. “ Nella Fantasia “ ( 4:08 best version ever and I’ve watched and listened to all the world class vocalists perform this) “ Goodbye a word that’s too short” ( click 5:08 one she’s in the celestial realm and sustains the last note a long time. “wound” ( emotionally impactful 5:57 duration with the blue strobe lighting) “Hit hee Park Ki Young” (one of my all-time favorites 5:18 duration) Lonely Nights ( one of a serious of “ Mask” performances that she won. Amazing vocal range and the ending is up in the stratosphere. “ So hyang” receives a lot more reactors and reactions than Park Ki Young” because of her ability to sing many popular American songs in English which she performs with emotional impact. But please don’t judge a vocalist by the number of requests you receive-altho your fans are usually right. But I’m a professional singer and my singing friends unanimously agree that both So Hyang and Park Ki Young are not only world class vocalists but equal in talent. What I’m trying to say is I believe Park Ki Young deserves far more reactions and I promise you and your subscribers who love So Hyang ( and I am among them) that you won’t be disappointed listening to a Park Ki Young song. They are both about the same age ( early 40s but look amazing for their age!) and the closest and best of friends. Sohyang one of my favorite female Korean vocalists but for the life of me I can’t figure out why you ( or other coaches) haven’t as yet reacted to another world class female Korean vocalist who many consider as good as Sohyang ( they are close best friends and each admire the others talent). They both have the same vocal range and hit those celestial high notes with emotional impact. And they both look beautiful. Her name is Park Ki Young and here are 3 youtube live performances that will blow your mind and open your heart. Park Ki Young “ wound”( amazing but she can go higher) Park Ki Young “ Spring Rain” ( amazing and those high notes!!) Park Ki Young “ Goodbye, a word that’s too short” ( heartwrenching and again high notes are amazing) Please react first to “ Goodbye, a word that’s too short” because it highlights her tremendous vocal range and emotional depth. I hope all your subscribers who never heard Park Ki Young perform , will react privately.
