Just watch out KBS/MBC/JTBC on copyright. Have you try using Vimeo video to watch instead. I heard from others that it is safer.

Sohyang's positive energy is what this world needs these days... She's been battling various illnesses since early 20s to even as of late and yet still wants to bring joy and encouragement to her audiences whenever she can... Not only awesome singer, but even better human being... Sohyang IS love...

She’s amazing

She has amazing prescence on stage & she is so powerful which always makes me laugh because she is the tiniest thing. She has the ability to make you feel like she singing directly in to your soul, she is definitely a 'giver'. You should aquaint yourself with her back story,her cancer,how she nearly gave up singing because she didn't think she was good enough ( this was only a year before the performance you've just watched), how she's struggled with bouts of pneumonia,the kiss of death to a singer & why she's not signed with one of the big record companies,despite numerous attempts to sign her & hence why she's not the worldwide superstar that her talent surely merits

Sorry!my bad! Yes u got to see her performance of 'lean on me' from the same show when michael bolton was the guest of honour & her performance literally left him speechless. When he got himself together he said it was 'spectacular' & that she'd taken the role of 'virtuoso'. She has joined him on tour since then. The language is korean. You should've heard this song before sohyang rearranged it,it was just a very simple folk song with very little orchestration,but true to form,the master arranger sprinkled her magic on it & turned it in to the piece you have just witnessed. If you really want her to take you to church the her song 'everyone' is a must because although she excels in all genre's,she is a gospel singer at heart (just ask kirk franklin who is a great admirer of her)

Arirang has been oral for hundreds of years and is a beautiful folk song listed in UNESCO. Arirang has a little different melody and lyrics depending on the area, and there are various versions. Sometimes it is a labor song when you are working hard, and when the country is invaded or in crisis, it is a song that brings together your heart. This song is a more modern arrangement of Arirang, and her clothes are Korean traditional costumes called hanbok. Sohyang is 43 years old . Thank-you, so glad you obviously enjoyed Arirang Alone. Please persevere with So Hyang - even though I'm sure as viewers we don't really appreciate the blocking battles. Many regard "Everyone" as her most personal statement in music - a real "must see" at some point. More recently, there's a wonderful cover of "I will always love you" in an interesting location.

She is korean gospel queen. I know you already check bridge over troubled water, and next you must check out -Lean on me -you raised me up -i have nothing -everyone (this is one of the best for me). Hope you check this out..

She's not only one of the best vocalists in the world technically, she's also one of the best musical storytellers. You will never listen to a song from her that doesn't make you feel something intensely. If you want to see her testify for seven minutes straight you should do Everyone next, but make sure to secure your wig before you hit play.

I have been debating back and forth with Morissette fans about who is better all I can say is when I watch them both the only one who makes me thing wow I've never seen this song done like this before, whatever they happen to be singing at the time is always Sohyang.Morissette is good but I never think that there isn't any number of singers who are just as good and could perform the song the same or better,where as with Sohyang I often think there is not many if any at all who could sing her songs better.
