So how good is the food in Vieques, Puerto Rico?
We're back!
We LOVE Puerto Rican food. When planning our trip to Vieques, PR we also researched some of the best places on the island to get the best food. Its a small island (52 sq miles) and most of that is federal protected reserve land. So we knew the food options were limited. After this trip, I'll definitely do a bit more research on hours of operation as well as the menu and reviews.
I apologize in advance for a lot of the sharp cuts and voiceovers. The island is a hopping place with music blasting from everywhere. So getting usable audio without copyright issues was tricky. And even after hours of editing, Im sure the KZread Gods will still find something in the background that I missed.

it's a beautiful place. And pretty cheap too.
Love this! If you go back, I would definitely try Arenamar, Rising Roost, and Panaderia Viequenise. Did you have a chance to try Parcha Juice? So good!

@@simplifiedtravels you're going back??!! That is amazing! I hope you post more on it. I would recommend checking out the sugar mill ruins, the piers, and monte pirata.

I can't believe you went to some of those dives! At least you made it to La Placita, Bili and Coqui Fire. And why so many tacos? You're in Puerto Rico...so much good local food served up by Puerto Ricans!! Williams Pizza is the worst-- PR's equivalent to Pizza Hut!!

It was definitively an interesting experience. We tried so hard to find good local food. We just kept coming up short. Perhaps next time we will enlist a guide

@@chrisandowen6438 for cheap eats....food trucks--lizzy's tacos, Rincon del Sabot, Dexter 's BBQ,....mid-range:Rising Roost, Bananas, Arenamar SunbayCafe.... high end: El Quenepo, El Plaza, Bieques Bistro, Bili

Agreed. For some reason a lot of the places we tried to go were either closed or had weird hours. I'm hoping next time we have a better experience.
