LOVE Billy Preston!!!!

You have to hear "Will it go round in circles", an extremely fun song. Also "Born Again" was a great love song and a departure from his normal sound. For more of the Beatles connection, you might want to watch the movie Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The acting isn't good, but the music is. The movie features some of your most favorite artists.

Billy Preston was the first live music act on SNL S1 EP1. I think this was even the first song played in his set.

I stumbled on the old song the day before yesterday. I have been listening to it so many times. I love this song and this talent. BYW Preston was a child protege and self-taught musically. He played with bands at the age of 10. Pure genius. It. takes me back to the 70"s when I was in my 20's!

I always loved his music. Once you hear Will It Go Round in Circles, you won't be able to get the song out of your head. He sat in with the Beatles in their famous roof top concert-part of the music showed up on their Let it Be album. In fact he played organ for the song Let it Be. He performed for George Harrison's concert for Bangladesh, in which he sang That's the Way God Planned It. He was loved by both sides of the racial divide. He wrote You Are So Beautiful, the song Joe Cocker had the big hit on. I can't say enough good things about him.

Billy was a fifth Beatle on the Let It Be album, but he wasn’t supposed to be. He showed up to say hi, since he had met them while touring with Little Richard. On film, the Beatles tell him his playing gave them a “breath of fresh air”. His solo on Get Back is iconic!! In the Get Back documentaryHe has a great smile and always seems happy. “Outa Space” is awesome, but an instrumental, “Will It Go Round In Circles” is a good one too! Both The Stones and Eric Clapton Both Let Him Shine As They Both Gave Him The Spotlight As He Played His Hit's !! Billy Preston is An Icon in Music and in LIFE !! R.I.P. Billy Preston !!

What I am most thankful for is growing up in my teenage years in the 70s. Non stop incredible music. This one of hundreds of bangers. So glad to see younger people listening to this great music.

Billy Preston was a child prodigy on the keyboards raised in the church. Yes, he's called the 5th Beatle. This is straight 70's pop music.

What even many fans don’t know is Billy started very young. There’s live recordings on KZread, in black n white, of him on TV playing when he was 10-11 years old. Not only did he play with many greats he was basically a child prodigy.

Keyboardist Billy Preston was called the Fifth Beatle, because he the only non-member ever to be credited on a Beatles recording.
