Love the rain! We get the same here in Not-Always-Sunny Florida. 😅 An interesting kit. In my 66 years, I cannot remember ever building an Aoshima kit. I'll need to look for one. 😎👍

I love the thought of taking your Lamborghini to pick up groceries. I know somebody out there does it but for us who will probably never own one it is actually comical.

Cool model. Be cool if it was called Lightning Lamborghini. Oh come on!! You’re on a Hollywood storm set aren’t you? Lol. I love a good lightning thunder rainstorm when I can just be inside a watch it it. Thanks Matt.

Its not easy to know what all parts is. But i think your hinges for the bak deck is the foots for your rear spoiler. Its will be a great kit to build. Keep up with your good work Matthew. 😊😊😊😊

Looking forward to seeing the kit when done! And I know what you mean about the rain causing the humidity to sky rocket. I live in Houston, and it does the exact same thing here.

I really rate these kits, I have three of the R35 Liberty Walk in my stash. I can get these straight from Japan for a third of the price they are here in Australia. It’s almost like that scene in Fast and the Furious when Jessie says “ overnight parts from Japan” I can get any Aoshima kits in five days from ordering, quicker than most hobby shops three states away, which is about two thousand kilometres away.

Hi matt, the quality of the Aoshima kits are getting better and better. I have build this model a little while ago and a few things or tips i can give you. Those stickers for the windowlines are not my thing, because it is not that natural, they are to glossy.I masked of all those windows trims ans airbrushed then with semi-gloss. Then you mentiones those mounting pins and holes. You can ALMOST build the whole body together and paint it. But i got a tip wich make the result even better. Use masking tapa on those mounting point. A bit smaller as that piece indicated is before priming.. Then Airbrush it,polish it and then take the tape off and glue those parts in his place with Tamiya extra thin or a glue like that. Then the conection will be firm,BUT the lines between the parts are staying sharper. You don,t even need a panel-liner or wash to get it real. You will enjoy the build of this kit. It is a lot of small pieces masking off,but you bwill see the difference.

Nice kit. Lots of detail for a "semi" curbside kit. Looks like it will be a fun build. Nice to hear the thunderstorm in the background, lol. I like how you sped up the ending to beat the power going off. 👍

The tuner crowd just loves body appliqué kits, Aoshima knows their market. Too bad they can't keep the original versions in production as well. The GT1 version from just a few years ago was great, and I'm still kicking myself for not buying one the only time I saw one. The negative camber tires are a cardinal sin to real Lambo owners outside of Hollywood.

That is a pretty cool kit. Im not into tuner cars too much but they do look pretty cool. Wow, that was one heck of a storm for sure. I am in Opelika, Alabama and we have been getting some pretty strong storms and lots of rain lately also. Anyway, loved the ASMR for model guys, styrene clicking against styrene, and the plastic wrap crackles, that would be a funny short video, you could whisper and then make the sounds, lol. Next up, you could make a short video of "relaxing rain" from that storm. Lol. Good stuff!!!

Matt these particular Liberty Walk kits - 2 Aventadors (with another coming in October), 2 Huracans, and a Murcielago (coming in 2024) are designed to be bridge kits between their rather sizable 1/32 Snap Kit line and their regular 1/24 kits. It can be put together without paint (needs glue) with the various mylar stickers by a new modeler. But they also include all the water slides for the experienced builder who wants a "real" model. The instructions will have two decal layout sheets, the one in the front is for the stickers, the one in the back pages is for the water slides. There are no paint call outs during the construction (for builders not painting the kit), but again in the back pages are the paint call outs and the photos of painted parts. The sprue of funky suspension components is because the main gimmick (gimmick meaning feature in Japanese kit design) is that the kit builds with adjustable ride height and wheel camber. So it can sit at the normal driving height or snuggled down to the pavement. In 1:1 these cars have air suspensions to drop down so low, and then raise up to actually be able to drive around.

I would also say to invest a little more in the detail up kit to make it pop that little extra comes with p.e parts, it’s around $25 Aud which takes the model to around $50 bucks for us

Looks nice. I'm sure your skills will do it justice. I'm not a supercar person myself, they're too small, low to the ground, fragile, and way out of my forever budget to ever even consider wanting, that I've never been impressed.

Sounds like you’re in the middle of the sea! Still it makes a change from train horns 😂 Thanks for the review, I’ve bought a few supposed staunced Aoshima kits that sit nothing like as low as the box art suggests, hopefully this one is accurate. Have to say I’m not keen on those tyres though.

I'm not sure I could stand having those screws exposed all over the body kit - I'd fill and smooth them into the body (the seams for the flares too) to make it look more thought out and less of a 'liberty walk' kit.
