    Incredible how Aventador was presented oover 10 years ago (early 2011) and it still looks gorgeoous to this day. This car hasn't aged at all.

    I have Aoshima's: Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster versions which are my next 2 models to build. Would you believe it, before I watched this video I was in two minds whether to paint one of the models in a light blue and one in a dark plum metallic, now that I have seen you do it in a blue I may go ahead with a slightly darker blue so as it's not quite the same. My conundrum is, which model to paint in which colour 😕😕

    Great choice of colour Tom. I'm in awe of your masking skills with no bleed at all and such clear lines. What do you use to press down to get the tape to adhere so well. Also I notice you seem to use the 0.5 spray mostly now. I'm using the Procon 289 platinum 0.3 but don't seem to get the coverage you can get especially with final and clear coats. Is it worth going to a 0.5 spray. Thanks for another great build.

    Hello Tom, nice to see your work. I see that you use single action airbrush, is that much easier for you. Can you control the flow of paint easily. I find it difficult in the one that I have, it's just one heavy flow of paint.

    Gorgeous work. I just wish Aoshima to make a kit of the Aventador SVJ. By the way, if you were going to paint the roof black, why did you bother painting it sky blue?

  • @TheScalemodelingChannel

    @TheScalemodelingChannel

    To have an even finish underneath the black. If i paint it up to the edges, it can leave overspray on the roof and a rough surface.
