I used to love and play it a lot. A couple of time I faced this deck at Mythic Rank in this season, those guys were around Top 150-300. Since Three Steps Ahead is very organically suited for this deck, I decided to try an refreshed version. Honestly, I didn't like it. I mean the deck is good, but obviously I can't consider a deck without Emperor. 🤨 Also I think the deck needs only 3x Jace and 3x Mindbreaker and 4x Three Steps Ahead and 4x No More Lies, becasue sometimes Jace/Mindbreaker just overspam you like in game 4.

The deck looks like alot of fun. The way you beat the Abuelo Awakening deck was BRILLIANT. He should have waited for 6 mana and a negate to cast it against a bluewhite deck. Im surprised he didnt. But you just waited for him to mill himself enough to finish him off. Youre a genius, Sonio.

I'm surprised that boros convoke stays in the game after the first temporary lockdown. There's zero chance they'll win.

I mean sometime you just draw the wrong half of your deck. The fact that people expect a deck that works 100% of the time is just silly.

Haha. Its funny, everytime i face an abuelos awakening deck, they have it on turn 4. And everytime i play mine im digging for 10 turns to find it. It always looks easier from the other side. Especially when you get beat by them. In practice its rarely as smooth. Unless your playing boros soldiers or covoke. Then every card is a good card.

What really surprises me is how often boros gets the demolition on 2. Hopefully post rotation they will have to use frontliner instead of epicur, which is a lot more manageable.
