You divide it by 1" by 2.5" thus the smaller part is going to take 1" while the bigger part takes the 2.5

Hello testimony....❤️....Yes the 1.5 inches is from the chest line...come down from there...this helps when attaching your lining so that the neck line will not be too bulky and heavy ....Also from your under bust line come down by half inch...so your padding will start half inch below your underbust...this gives support and lifting to the under bust

Okay.... thanks alot ma❤️..... You can use just the 1 inch for the side ...and leave the middle panel straight.... Alternatively you can also take 0.5 inches on the middle... just make sure to replace it back when taking the final measurements to avoid shortage

Yes...from the center front...skip your dart...place your tape on the other dart to complete the neck line measurement

I am trying this now and there is a bit of confusion , if we place the front panel to cut the back ,the back shoulder ends up over wide considering that for the front we added back the dart of 2.5 and for the back were just taking out 1inch. I do not understand how your back piece is just an inch wider if we placed front to cut back. Pls respond.

You used 5.5 for yours and that was after u skipped the dart in front and we don't have such dart at the back but we're placing the front to cut the back. At the end the chest of my back pattern is 2.5inches wider than the front and from your explanation it should be 1inch wider

Okay...use one on the mid piece that is center front...then the remaining 3 on the side...but if you feel it's too much and you can't sew it because it will be really curvy...minus half inch and use 2.5...it will still come out well❤️

Hello...thanks for watching... Notching the undebust allows your outfit to sit well on your bust....It conforms the outfit to follow the curved shape of the bust to undebust area.. Making it stay relaxed and firm

Skipping your dart means not calculating what you used as dart in your measurements...as you are going to cut it off

Good morning uju❤️...Thanks for watching...That part is the neckline ( so that the tube top won't be falling from your chest)...after marking the darts and everything you input the neckline...So to get it use your shoulders measurement divided by 2 (16÷2) = 8. Then that 8 minus 2.5 or 3 from it which will give us 5.5...Then when putting down this 5.5 you start from the center front, skip the darts and complete the 5.5 on your chest line..so that when you cut out your dart..your exact 5.5 will remain... So whatever the shoulder measurement is just calculate like this to get your exact figure..This helps the breast tube stay firm on your chest without.❤️ Do you understand now?...Feel free to ask anything more.❤️
