Please make sure you can trust people you bring to your home. I wouldn't want anyone to come back and steal Gerda. She's so friendly she would go with anyone with no problem.

Amazing how different Gerda and Messi are. Gerda is coming out to say hello and even showing affection to strangers. I know Cheetahs show love to people but I am surprised every time from her kindness. The kindest thing Messi gives to a stranger usually is not doing anything wrong to them or letting them to feed him with a Sour Cream a little bit. His love is only for 2 people and in rare cases he will allow strangers to pet him a little bit. However if any lucky visitor lives in an illusion that he can hug him or to play with him like Sasha does is gravely mistaken.

That was fascinating! The history of training and interaction with the animals puts what you're doing on a whole other level... you are experts on the subject... animal lovers and professionals... I'm impressed by your love and care for these magnificent cats.

Petting across the top of the head is the same sensation as mother cat gives when kitten is being good . Rubbing the cheek is leaving a positive sent ,claiming you as a friend .

With all the chaos on the world scene (Carl Jung says national goverrnents relate to each other like four year olds) it's so gratifying to see how similar our lives are on a human scale. You go to the Vet in a comtemporary vehicle on freeways, you go to the cinema and it's just like here in California. So many similarities between us all. Why can't our goverrnments (plural) learn to get along like ordinary folks? Love the big cats and think you are the sweetest people.
