This was written in August, and the addendum about a week ago, but life happened and I wasn't able to record and upload it as fast as I would like. That being said, it's context for the post-showcase video that dropped at the same time as this one.

I have been pre-ordering digital deluxe edition since witch queen, because it was a nice way to get a year's worth of content and usually I managed to snag it at a discount at around 50-60 Euros which is reasonable if you treat it like buying a new game But I dont know about this, what they showed felt so underwhelming, even when comparing it with lighfall

I don't blame anyone for pre-ordering games they want, because I still do it (I did for Remnant II recently, love that game lol). But the last time I preordered something for Destiny was well before Lightfall. So I don't blame you man. I'm hoping the finale proves me wrong, but time will tell. Thanks for commenting and watching man!
Video is fire as always. But man that whole state of the game just felt like victim blaming and gaslighting in a toxic relationship.

Even in hindsight, it wasn't a great moment. The State of the Game came off like that, but looking at it from a wider perspective, I feel like that was Bungie talking to their audience and their investors at the same time, and... yeah they can't do that there lol. I don't think Bungie can afford another one of these so close to the end of D2's saga. They're a resilient company, but just because you have a bulletproof vest doesn't mean you should jump in front of firearms.
