I forgot to mention in my last comment that it's great that you forgave your family. One time years ago on a Christian forum someone made a comment I was hurt by and for a long time I was holding a grudge against her. God had been dealing with me about that and one day I finally chose to forgive and after that felt a big burden lifted. I learned a valuable lesson there about the power of forgiveness.
