SNUBBED | Wrestlers Not in the Hall of Fame!
Every notable sports hall of fame has its omissions, just look at Pete Rose in baseball or Darrell Griffith in basketball if you want any evidence of this. And of course wrestling hall of fame’s are no different. Even voters of the Wrestling Observer’s have yet to induct people like Curt Hennig, Arn Anderson, or CM Punk. But perhaps the most egregious examples of people not getting their moment in the sun comes with the WWE equivalent as, given the whole thing is decided by one man, it means that if he doesn’t see the argument for you, then you’re not going to get in. But what are the biggest examples of this? Well, let’s find out right now as we take a look at the subject in more detail in Snubbed: Wrestler’s not in the WWE Hall of Fame.

    Christian will definitely be inducted eventually without a shadow of a doubt! Ability wise, on the mic and in the ring, he's one of the greatest talents ever! He's done so much on all the possible levels for so many years in the WWE alone! So when you add in his phenomenal era in TNA and his work now in AEW he gained being called a Hall of Famer three times over! It is better though that it is delayed since he's still going strong. Being a hall of famer who is still active always reminds people that it's nearly done and he might not want that. He could still go for many years and I hope he does! Wrestling was taken away from him for 7 years and I hope he makes up for that and then more before he hangs up his boots.

    Guys like Ken Shamrock, Test, or even Chris Benoit won’t ever be in the hall of fame. But should. It’s unfortunate that WWE is not giving credit where credit is due. Especially ruining big name talents when they let Brock Lesnar face Undertaker at Wrestlemania. When it should’ve been against Kane, and a dream match vs Undertaker and Sting. Or John Cena winning one or two more world titles to tie or pass Ric Flair. Then there’s the situation with WWE also ruining The Fiend into his Bray Wyatt persona, is another reason why WWE Doesn’t look at the bigger picture. If WWE wants to capture fans more they should create more meaningful ideas, instead of making things repetitive. Do people want to see something new and something that we’ve never seen before. Or Do people want to keep seeing Brock Lesnar come back? Because I’m telling you it’s a FACT nobody wants to see the same thing over & over.

    It would be great if an independent Wrestling Hall of Fame was created and did inductions annual like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame does. No "they working for the competition stuff." No "we have to worry about our image". Just "this person was a good wrestler and positively impacted professional wrestling." The biggest issue is finding a committee to do it. People like Meltzer and Cornette, who know the business and know history also seem to be kind of stubborn these days. Or you know the fans could support the independent hall of fame that already exist.

    While not an in ring competitor, Miss Elizabeth is a huge WWE Hall of Fame snub. By the way, interesting timing in releasing this video today. Today, July 16, is the birthday of the greatest snub in the history of the MLB Hall of Fame: Shoeless Joe Jackson was born on this day in 1887.

    Joe Jackson was on the infamous 1919 black Sox that threw the series. Nobody from that team deserves to be in the hall. If Pete Rose won’t be put in there’s no way in hell a team that was paid to throw a World Series when baseball was really the only professional sport in America at the time. Cities lived for their teams and it was such a stain on the game. The whole kid saying “say it ain’t so joe” is referring to a kid saying that verbatim to shoeless joe Jackson after the news got out and all he could do was hang his head in shame. There have been players banned from cooperstown for way less.

    Chyna not being in the HOF is a disgrace. She is THE pioneer for women in wrestling. Yes, others came before, but Chyna was the first that could legit hang w/ the men, won the IC title and entered Royal Rumble. She could absolutely dominate the modern women's division. And WWE's excuse of her work in adult-entertainment is bullshit. They promoted 'adult entertainment' for years w/ their Playboy associations, bra/panty matches and everything else.

  • @AdamAtrocity17

    @AdamAtrocity17

    11 ай бұрын

    @shivathedemonkiller964 yes. The worst thing that ever happened to The WWE was when they became a publicly traded company. They stopped taking risks, became boring and trite. Chris Benoit was undeniably a phenomenal wrestler and even his son wants to follow in the footsteps of his career. Forgiveness is a beautiful thing and it is better to focus on the good in people rather than on the evil. "Before you speak of the splinter within your neighbors eye, remove the plank from thine own eye." What Chris did was terrible but they were not the actions of a man who was sane. He was not a "monster" but a sick man who was denied the treatment he obviously needed by a company that to this day refuses to accept responsibility for their complicity in his actions. They owe it to the memories of his wife (who also deserves induction) his son and him to not only recognize his greatness but also his sickness. Ignoring him and erasing him only shows how pathetic and greedy The WWE has become. Hopefully when Vince truly steps away, whoever takes over will rectify this.
