"...SNSD/Taeyeon still gives me joy...." --This is what struck about SNSD from the start. I got to know them (since only 2019) first from Girl's Go To School" after wondering who the heck Tiffany really was, from watching Sister's Slam Dunk ( which I found by accident).. Never mind their singing and dancing, they were and are just such a joy. And then the fun and positivity they project during their concerts is something else again. I'm a pretty positive guy myself (despite some tough times) but watching and listening to SNSD never fails to cheer me up. I love how they don't hesitate to 'throw each other under the bus, so to speak, and yet effortlessly also work as a team, and support and defend each other. Your video could have been 10 hours long!

All of them honestly, they just have different personalities. Hyoyeon & Sooyoung = savage ones, type of friends that you can exchange vulgar words but are fun to be with. Yoona = The in between of evil and bad, prankster and the teaser type but is supportive. Tiffany & Seohyun = the friends that are fun to tease bcs of their reactions. The sunshines and sweetest in the group. Taeyeon = the soulless, lol. The type of friend who rarely go out but once you asked her to come she'll be always there. Chill but is actually out going and comfortable to be with. Yuri = The cool friend but ironically the friend that is willingly can embarrassed herself in the public. Athletic and goofy. Sunny = The chillest but is intimidating. Sunny looked like she'll the shit out of you but is actually comfortable to be with as well, can be the sweetest and surely the one that will always look out for you. Jessica = The type of friend that is actually sensitive and sweet, but has an resting bitch face. The silly friend but is the honest and observant one. In conclusion, they are all fun to hangout with.

Nice edit. Thanks. Thinking back to their auditions, I can just imagine the SM staff reporting to Lee Sooman something like "These girls won't be any trouble at all". Ha! Apart from being the best group ever (IMHO) they are also queens of comedy on variety shows. Heechul is a very funny and clever guy, but he meets he's more than matched --and outnumbered---by SNSD. When Yuri and Sunny were filming their last couple of episodes of Invincible Youth, I remember the IY producer seriously saying that he wasn't sure the show was going to survive without them. SNSD has just an extraordinary balance of being serious professionals who can't resist having fun at every opportunity.. And I love when Taeyeon reminds them that they are supposed to be idols, when she's just as 'bad' as the rest of them. And when Sooyoung pretend-complains her princess image is being ruined by others, as though she's completely innocent.

SNSD was hated even before pre-debut (when Yoona appeared in Suju's MV) and it went downhill since then. They were literally the most hated group who received so many threats. People were calling them s*uts for being close with male idols and Tiffany in particular was constantly attacked for not being familiar with Korean culture. To make it worse, the hate wasn't random; it was coordinated between fandoms (ie, Dream Concert 2008). It was a dark time for every single one of them. 2009 was the first time their reputation improved.
