Dunno if you'll see this but your Primary clutch spring change vid worked! I followed it basically step by step (Buddy included!) My 500 Sno Pro got the friends of the previous owner salty. Didn't believe it was such a simple fix till I sent a video of it driving low end throttle (Stalled all the time with the broken primary spring) Got a thicker EPI performance aftermarket in it now with little to no issues. I have let it idle too long and fouled plugs doing so, so I only give it a maximum 5 minute warm-up and it's never let me down yet!

Bros chill chill! Obviously we make this content because we love doing it and have built a nice supportive sledding community through it. Most don’t realize how much time and energy it takes to make epic vids but it’s more than you think. I can guarantee even more epic vids coming down the pipe but sometimes we get too busy. If we could afford to shoot and edit videos all day we certainly would because we love it. To say we’re “dropping the ball” is harsh bro! 😢 Issuing you +2 points for missing us, another +2 points for noticing the lack of epic, but -5 points for being too harsh. 😆 👊✌️

Good tip. Didn't know that was possible. What brand of punches are good quality and last. Would a helicoil or keenesrt be a better way to fix the stripped threads? I noticed that the bolts that hold thechaincase together are trilobuler in shape so they self tap. I like to replace them with a standard bolt that is round to get full thread engagement.

Kind of off topic but i am curious about the snowmobile lift you have. How high does it raise the machine? I have a polaris 550 fan that has 50 psi one the clutch side and 110 on the other side and am going to attempt to repair this myself and I think my back would really appreciate a good lift or some sort.

Hey man, I have a question...I bought a jdmspeed primary clutch. Built it with a BMP clutch kit. Running the Arctic cat suggested 0627-083 belt. At idle the primary is turning the track. I've watched your clutch videos/others videos on you tube and have loosened the belt but it still is grabbing the belt at idle. Is there any way to adjust the distance between the faces of the primary clutch? Sled is a 2013 F800. Thanks man!

I have a question - digit9 , I just rebuilt the top end of a 99 polais xc 700 !!!! Some nice proX pistons , all oem gaskets , all new fasteners and prettied up real nice. All that's good 👍 On first 60 mile ride after running it closer to home for testing it started backfiring through exhaust and lost power , was able to feather it back after it died 1 x and waited 15 minutes . The spark seems to come and go on it . Do you think it's tge stator , or the cdi/ignition coil its that combined ducati cdj deal . Spark goes from weak to strong / whitish -week , no spark then strong clicking blue ????? Any advise on using another used oem over aftermarket ??? Any advise on a place that can rebuild or has new actual high quality ones ???? I ride by myself in national forests in michigan so I'm all about reliability . Lastly I got the jetting decent with a needle adjustment off the bat , and the sled to me is a really strong runner the 4th-5th time I pegged the throttle , was going over a lofting fire road hill and it lifted the front end carried it down most of the hill it brought much joy to my blackened heart !!!!!!!! I rebuilt it in a cold building with a propane heater and bench equipment . Please advise .

  • @DIGIT9

Good for you on the rebuild ! Check all the ground wires ! Why are you rebuilding it ? What caused it to fail ? Stators and Voltage regulators were crap on that yr of sled too !

@@DIGIT9 I got it this summer for 750.00 , have 1,600 in it now probably end up being 2k total . It had 2300 miles its got 2450+ now !!!! Bascicaly I started it , had hardly enough power to move itself , I saw the primary clutch spring was broken , and noticed red rtv on base of cylinders and thought O- Damn an idiot was in it !!! I checked the carbs , half of a float bowel was missing on one carb , got another carb for the float . Pulled a reed cage out and saw some good old piston scoring ! Turned out the water pump drive belt was broken due to a lack of rebuilding the water pomp properly and feeling for it to be free upon assembly and that caused the belt to break. It had light as it gets just about 4 corner seizing going on and some aluminium transfer. Couple scores but almost no demensional bore wear , I'm a machinist so I checked it . So it had multiple issues going on , I put a new old stock fuel pump on it to . Everyhting I did has worked out good , but it is cutting out and acting up after half hour of riding and it's spark , not fuel or mechanicals. Are spi stators any good , or RM stators ???? What happens if that little voltage regulator goes bad .
