I´m 41 and just got back into snowboarding (just had my second season) after dropping out of it in ´92. I thought I was too old to have idols. I may be wrong, i´ve pretty much worn out the tutorials and edge control videos. It´s. so. God. Damned. EFFORTLESS! Your videos are definately a huge inspiration, in addition to you seeming like a real stand up guy. Please keep the videos coming. Me knees also say hi. They hate you.

+snerck Thanks for the kind words. And hopefully your knees end up appreciating me! No joke, my knees, ankles, and everything feels better now that I"m 37 than any time since I was around 14. I rarely hit jumps and pipe anymore... so without all the impacts of landing tricks all season everything feels just as good as it did at the beginning of the season. Hopefully you saw the carving tutorials... I'll have a couple more out near the beginning of next season. Thanks again and happy shredding!

+Ryan Knapton My pleasure. Unfortunately, I live in a small town, and there´s no way to try out boards before buying, so the last two seasons I´ve been through a 163 Custom FV, 163 Custom, 158 Custom and a 154 Nug FV before I got a 159 Process FV, and this changed everything. Previous boards needed a better rider. Tricks were much more attainable with the Process, and it sort of forced me into trying this jumping business as well. Will probably have to experiment more with stances to see what makes the least impact on the knees (currently at 12/-12), but granted - butters and carving (I use the term loosely) is definately less painful at the end of the day! Just ordered a Process off-axis that I´m going to try in June when we´re going summer boarding here in Norway - strynsommerski.com There´s one spot free in the cabin, I´ll be happy to hold it for you! :D Looking forward to your upcoming tutorials!

I don't know if you already have a video on this but could you make one on the gimbal you have and what you do because most gimbals won't allow you to use the waterproof housing. unless you use the GoPro hero 4 session. thanks!

+Max Greesheen I tried a hd proto a couple years ago. It felt too noodley for me and I didn't like the rocker either. In pow it wouldn't be bad tho. Pow days is when Aku rides his for sure... I think he rides a stiffer board on other days tho. Maybe he can chime in if he sees this comment, or I'll ask next time I see him.

+DancingTwutle Well, I've been snowboarding since like 88 or 89... I'm sure I made a couple turns back then that were good enough to be considered a 'carve' of some sort. I'm definitely a lot better now than then tho! :)

+Hyon Jung Kim :) Extremely rare its this good this late. But el nino delivered. I'm on a twin. I have some other insane pow footie I'm waiting till fall to release and in those clips I'm on an Incline. it's not a good board for buttering and stuff.. but for deep pow, it has a longer nose and floats better than my twin.

+BB0YMatty A Zhiyun Z-1 Evolution gimbal for the gopro. Works great! Only downfall is that you can't use the waterproof housing with it... so although the footage comes out way better... gotta be extra careful to keep the goopro dry...
