Snowboard Day with unusable DJI Mini 4 Pro Active Track

Wish I could provide a flawless nice relaxing Snowboard Day video but what you see here is me mostly fighting to get the drone doing anything sane and it lost the tracking over and over.
The warn west helped but still it did not perform well.
With the warn west I also set the speed to sport mode because it looked to me like the speed might be an issue. Can't tell wheter it is or not.
Also I am not too happy of how the drone followed the swings and that it often showed a top down view even overshoot. That makes this video not really enjoyable to watch even in the parts where the tracking worked. I used the default active track following settings. Same as in my previous videos.
Some of the longer recordings are lost.
One I know that I likely turned the drone off and forgot to stop the video recording before doing that. But another one is a riddle because it seems to be the first part of a longer recording. It's where I did a carving to a close stand still facing uphill to spot the drone and jump rotate 180 and you only see the very end of that. But the drone was following and recording.
So losing that recording is extremly strange to me. From the nummerations there is no gap. And I lost one more.
Storage: Kingston Canvas Go! Plus 256GByte
And that final. I have no clue what the drone did there. Got its own mind as it seems.
So yeah the drone video quality is superba and awesome and the small size and weight perfect to carry just wish it had a working follow me.
There aren't even any obstacles this time that could be blamed.
Somewhat more and more frustrating.

This is great! As a drone lover and video editor, I just think you should edit it a bit more. I hope to have more great adventures with your drone!

wooow! I'm still excited about the video! For someone like me, it's great to watch skiing from the Alps (?) and it doesn't matter that the drone does what it wants sometimes. Just seeing the moments when the drone makes mistakes is useful for me too. Thanks for the great video.

The fly more combo comes with a drone bag. If you unscrew the sticks you can put it sidewise into the bag the way that the antennas fit in the gap between the inner walls and the outer. However over time I simple put it onto that closed bag because I had to take it out again and again all the time. I likely will search a little card box or something to cover the bottom keys and then I will put it in there and this on top of the bag.

The SKYDIO 2 plus drone are much better i think. Can we use drones on ski slopes?

Well if you ask if this is legal to do ... it depends on the country. In Switzerland the drone laws just changed this year and now the EU drone laws are applayed. For a C0 drone (less than 250g) like the DJI Minis you can fly in the A1 open category which allows the overflying of uninvolved people but not the overflying of crowds. Also the follow me aka DJI Active Track is allowed as an exception of the usual strict in sight flight only. So my conclusion is yes. I am not sure they thought about this scenario when creating the law. If many do that then I see new laws comming. ;) Note: You don't need to do a drone licence for C0 but you have to be registered as pilot. I recomment to do the basic drone licence because it gives you a lot of the informations that are good to know.

Hi man, great video, did you use any ND filters over de lens?

No ND Filters and 4K60Hz Auto mode. I have to say from all the DJI Drones that I had so far this is the one I like best when it comes to picture quality combined with simplicity to use. No post steps color grading required and it also seems to handle the switch from bright to dark places well enough in auto mode.
