I always loved turning ground with snow on it It shows up how much you've done I've mold board plowed snowy ground and steam came up So Cool when that happens

Some of the ruts in gumbo soil last for many years, even after they’ve been worked down a bunch of times. That’s the kind of soil where your rubber boots get bigger and bigger until you can’t move. Best to walk with a spade or at least a heavy survey stake when it’s like that.

5 mph I think...doesn't matter for farm fuel..no carbon tax on that.

Sure been warm the past few days. Looks nice through the end of the month when I looked today. Corrals got sloppy weaning calves this afternoon. Hope it freezes down a bit before preg checking on Wednesday.

It's crazy warm...we are starting to haul our bales now...lit some brush piles on fire ...that big wind came up and git kinda sketchy there...lots of grass to burn

@@Northern_Farmer burnt ours around the 1st. Had that snow laying around then. I get the nervousness with the grass. That was one heck of a wind last night.

Looks good for doing fall tillage in snow never done that but ran grain cart on john deere 8400 rear duals mfwd and 750 bushel killbros grain cart in 20 degrees usa ohio spitting snow late in nov last few fields of corn for year

@bradjenkins932 no I ment my field cultivator...this is a chisel plow..600 lb trips...our cultivators are light...250 lb trips and only 3/4 shanks ...

Haven't figured out what part of the county this is but in my part of the county,east central Illinois ,i plowed under snow and the following crop year the soil stayed wet and lumpy all season and crop was a disaster, my advice never, ever plow or till under snow😮!

I'm in Northern Canada. I have tilled in a bit of snow before..but not this much. This was in Oct and since then the snow has melted and froze...we will see how it turns out
