I had to say goodbye to my husband with this song when hospice came he grabbed my hand and said remember the words to this song i couldn't look into his eyes without crying knowing it was the last time l would see his warm hazel eyes looking at me he choked up and smiled said dont' let go of his hand he died the next day and l still feel his presence

I am 60 and I have this song repeat. I love it so much and the setting with a classic orchestra is just so perfect. 💋

Somehow I seem to love this more than Chasing Cars. I didn't think it was possible to love another more. Thankyou Gary and Snow Patrol, this is just sublime.

Quite simply the most beautiful version of any song of all time! Have the cd version on up to now and this tune sits on top my all time list. I cannot thank gary lightbody enough for making this arrangement, a genius masterpiece

Dont know how i have only just came across this beautiful rendition of this, already, classic song. Spine tingling, is all it can be described as. I do wish the orchestra had played a little longer at the end, as the crowd was willing to carry on singing it sounded like. This has gone straight to the top of my playlists, for sure, along with Chasing Cars from the same concert.

Crowds singing along at concerts is infuriating. We pay to hear artists perform gorgeous work like this for us, not to be drowned out by drunks belting at the top of their voice.
