No hun no a boring video I'd do anything to back on the yard these day I miss the horses and working on the yard again I have severe rheumatoid atheritis so my mobility is to bad thankyou for taking us with you ❤️ blonde look happy and settled ❤️
LOL! Love your chicken names. I have a Princess Lay-a, & Dixie Chick 😄I enjoy hearing how you care for your horses. Wish more people were sensitive to a horse's needs
Is this the same horse that was jumping about if you got near to her, the improvement is remarkable. Well done, she seems so happy in your presence.
As someone from a place that gets plenty cold and plenty of snow in the winter, it's always so interesting to me to see what it's like for other people that aren't used to it. But now we can start to look forward to spring! (although I still have snow outside)
I love that you have an answer for Blondie and as someone who has been recently diagnosed as Autistic i totally relate with Blondie on a change in routine and new people, she's so lucky to have you, she is looking so well, i love how understanding of Blondie you are ♥

i'm so glad this came across in the right way, I was very mindful with how to say this but I do think it will help others understand what she goes through. I hope you have some understanding humans in your life too 😘
My dad has a timber yard and makes shed loads of shavings every day that we use for the horses if you want some free, it's gets chucked when the horses aren't using it he makes so much ☺️ great channel ❤️
Love your videos, and as long as you show the horses and your dogs, that keeps me happy. Blondie is looking so well.
Very enjoyable video. You take such good care of your horses and are so knowledgeable about feed, nutrition and new products for grooming. The snow was beautiful. That new footing was really interesting.
When you were talking about PSSM and such, MFM is a muscular disorder that looks similar to PSSM-2 in a muscle biopsy. My mare was originally on a Pssm diet only to discover when we did the muscle biopsy that it was MFM leading to a very low fat and high protein diet to be needed to help support her muscles. It’s so interesting being able to dive your horse’s health to best support their needs.

interesting ok, I did the hair testing for Blondie so its relatively conclusive for her pssm, but I wonder if they can have both?

@@hackettequine2059 I think they can, PSSM Awareness on KZread has a few videos that explain MFM, PSSM 1,2 and other variants.
Glad to hear Blondie is doing well, lovely to see her enjoying a good thorough groom. She must be feeling so much better ❤
Lol the thumbnail pics had me 😂
The snow looks amazing. I’m so glad that you have discovered the cause of Blondie’s behavioural problems (-: Marion
Love to see a new video of you, as always😊yes bedding- definitely kind of a science to find the right one. But the one you have seems to be an interesting one to try. In switzerland we‘re used to getting snow, but it definitely makes everything harder and all the yard work takes a lot more time. Looking forward to spring!
Awww I love blonde she is special girl such a difference she has a beautiful life now 💖
It's very nice to see a new video and updates about the Blonde girl. Most fun is you in your chicken coop "oh dear oh dear, ohhh dear" lol. Netherlands has also bird flu, it seems that guls took it with them. When I had my horse his bedding was hemp. Lovely video Miri. 🤗❤️🇳🇱
I did chuckle with all your horses on the walker! What is going on in their faces bless them!

I know I wish we didn't have to but with no indoor arena and frozen ground its a helpful thing.
As someone who isn't able to interact with horses currently, I loved this boring vlog! Anything to do with horses. Gimme!
Great video love seeing all your horses 🐎 great to see blonde is a lot better now.i hate snow ❄️
Love the Naked Horse products. I’ve been using the Beautify oil and restore oil all winter and now have a couple of their sprays and have also just put my boy on their ‘Buck Off’ supplement x
I use the Sundown yellow bedding the Eucalyptus one 💛 it's lovely. Only needed 3 large bales down and only need to take wets out once every 4wks. Droppings out daily and the smell is lovely of Eucalyptus reminds me of Vicks Vapour Rub haha. I pay £11 per large Bale xx

I couldn't imagine waking up to snow like that.
Looks so beautiful 🤩
I use straw pellets where I know he wees and then shavings on top as he eats the chopped straw 🙄 But so much easier to muck out - I do it just as you do. Winter sucks!
Loved this video! I like seeing behind-the-scenes and personal tips. Thank you for mentioning the anti-bacterial brushes - I'm going to get one, as my horse is currently getting over cellulitis in her right hind leg. I really want to keep her leg as clean as possible, as there was no detectable wound. I didn't know those brushes even existed, so thank you!!

Oh wow yes they are really great. this will definitely be a great addition to your grooming kit!
Fresh snow is beautiful. I don't miss dealing with it though.
Love your videos!! ❤
If you use a metal or plastic whisk you can Rub it on the Dogs legs. And the snow will come off.

Being from a snow state in the U.S. unless its icy our guys go out. Really the best trail ride I had as a kid was a full moon lit simple trail that footing was known under neath as it was a well used trail. It ended with hot cocoa and s'mores and cookies.😁. Have you ever seen the videos of the U.S. Mid west with the horse pulled Skiers ?

wow how wonderful. We had a hard freeze when we had this snow, so turn out and exercise was so hard. I have! those are amazing!
We got 40cm worth of snow in one day last week 🤪
« It’s quite deep » me, as a Canadian: humm, not really 🤣🤣🤣 but we’re used to it and so we’re equiped to not being an issue. For shoeing in winter, not only they have pads to keep the snow from building up but the shoes also have winter studs on them. My horses are barefoot but sometimes I’ll add a boot with studs if the risk of ice underneath the snow is present. The feeling of going on a trail ride during a snowstorm is probably my favorite time 😅
We have the Kardashihens too 😆

@Danaberries this winter in Canada has been pretty ridiculous. However, I am very excited to be moving to Ottawa in April for a better Equestrian life and training for me and my horses.

Adding myself to this thread of fellow canadians.. i'm in Montreal where it snows Oct-April, love seeing how the rest of the world deals with it.. can't live without an indoor :) most horses at the barn i'm at have no shoes all winter and get turned out except on the iciest days. Also a ring or field with a nice fresh deep coat of snow can be delightful for horse and rider.

Why do so many horsey people think that when a horse stretches it's neck out & pulls up its lip that its laughing?? They are actually taking in smells into their olfactory senses at a deeper level....
