Blondie looks so much more relaxed and happier. You are amazing in your caring, observation and flexibility and most of all patience in finding and fixing problems for horses. I am fascinated to follow you along with Blondie. She is so lucky to be in your knowledgable hands.

honestly your such an inspiration to me, i've been following u for at least 4/5 years and i just enjoyed so much how real you are and the content you show. I'm 18 and in these years i think i learned of horses just with your channel, and its amazing. keep believing in her... she's gonna become such a star, she's so lucky you have found her. Someone that truly thinks about her wellbeing phisically but especially MENTALLY, you dont see so much of that these days.. we love you.

Blondie and your story has truly helped me and my horse. Mine did not have the same level of difficulties to work though but I learned from you to take his “bad” behavior as discomfort or a message, and not him being a “bad” horse. I had a new saddle fitted to him and a bitless bridle, which he loves. I also focused on what I was doing wrong- my posture, cues, and lack of patience. Now he loves to work and he’ll follow me willingly. I’d just like to say thank you so much for sharing your story!

I’m pleased you are looking into getting her suspensorys scanned, my girl hated the arena but was happy out hacking most of the time. She wasn’t lame but just not quite happy somewhere, I had only had her a short while after getting her 5 stage vetted to find she had long standing hind PSD, it was only because I listened to her when no one else did, they just called her green. It’s so nice seeing someone else documenting their journey as it isn’t often plain sailing, so thank you! Although Ofcourse for you and blondie I wish you both didn’t have to go through this rough time xx

You are truly not just an excellent equestrian but a very good human being. I admire you so much for taking Blondie on and helping her - you are truly saving her. Yes, it can be very difficult in the process - a lot of us have been there w/our horses - she is quite unique - I wonder what could have happened to her. Thank you for posting and being who you are.

Love hearing about Blondie and your journey together. Super interesting and it’s so nice to see someone being patient with her and working from the ground up. A lot of people wouldn’t show her that same kindness and understanding sadly. Keep showing them there’s a different way! I also love that your including R+ in Blondie’s training!! ❤

You are awesome for sticking with Blondie. I haven’t heard from you for awhile, so I was wondering how that all went. You have come a long way with her. I know it sure wasn’t easy. I remember when you first got her and she didn’t even want you in her stall. You did a great job. I commend you for that. It seemed like once that grey horse stopped working, Blondie wanted to stop as well. I remember when you said, that she trusts horses more, than she does humans. It seems she looks to horses alot.. She is a beautiful horse, keep it up.

Love this video, one of my favourite mare’s is so similar and also recently tested positive for PSSM2. She had lost her propulsion from behind and started pulling more from her shoulders with a more choppy backend in trot. Feeling exactly like the handbrake was left one. Apparently it’s all linked to the condition and their lactic acid feeling makes them feel tighter behind hence they’re more spooky as they remain more in flight mode as not 100% in themselves 😢. Apparently the new Lamicore blend now has a much higher concentration of Vitamin E so don’t need to add separately 🎉 I’ve been also trying pea protein to bulk up her protein intake hadn’t thought of spirilina - horses are so amazing how they communicate to you my mare used to lift her back legs up & point at them, vets or physio couldn’t find anything even scanned her ovaries etc. who knew of PSSM2?!!! 😊

This video is so helpful and inspiring. Not because your sessions are perfect, but that you are really showing the reality of trusting the process; that in learning, there are ups and downs. But with patience and empathy, it is amazing how relationships can blossom! The work you are doing with her is really quite beautiful.

excellent, so pleased Blondie is feeling better in her body, what a learning curve. Kudos to you Miri for sharing with us. I was Inspired to go play with tools with my mare for the first time today after watching you both. It was a triumph, I love the sound of your wonderful bodyworker, she sounds pivotal with her work and advise. You are brilliant for sharing all of this.

B looks so much different in the ground work now. Uber relaxed and happy. So nice to see. I can totally understand your frustration from riding on the Tues. There must be a large range of difference for B in her body from day to day with her condition. It is A LOT to work with. PS your dogs are adorable.

Blondie reminds me of my mare when you ride her and she pins her ears and gets stuffy in trot. My mare Betty did this. When she was looking at something she wanted to stop or did not want to go faster. If I asked her to trot or to keep moving when she was looking around she would pin her ears, swish her tail and get stuffy. It was mostly because when I was asking her, I was hesitant so my internal energy did not match my ask. I was a bit scared/ was over thinking whether she would take her threats further. Now if I just ask her things with the right intention she will present me once with this then it goes away! You are doing very well with Blondie!

love your journey with Blondie as its so similar to mine with my gelding - love what you said about her senses and 'processing' hacking as well, as I do think it's true! also obviously I don't know her but in relation to what you said about her going slow then forward then slow again, could it be because her pssm muscles are 'tired' upon warm up and cool down but they become more elastic in the middle? i have no idea but it is just a thought :) please keep posting your journey with her, its so refreshing and educational!

such an interesting video. Blondie is such a pretty horse, and she has improved, I am sure when you sort out her issues she will be a wonderful horse to ride. I am not a horse rider I just love horses, but did notice she flicks her tail a lot more than the other horses especially when going in a circle is this relevant or does she just flick her tail a lot. It was not as noticeable when she was going in a straight line,

I'm just on the part of the video where you'll fact finding with Blondie with the saddle - could it be a girth issue?? maybe she needs a different type/fitting girth?? Just something that popped into my head - your doing amazing with her - you'll find and get the balance right with her xx

not at all trying to be a jerk just genuinely curious, has she been checked for kissing spine? my gelding has "mild" KS in T17-18 and had similar symptoms. In going down many a rabbit hole trying to help him I've seen that reportedly PSSM and KS might be genetically linked? I haven't tested him but I've thought about it. She looks so much happier now, kudos to you. You are truly an inspiration!
