No matter what her DNA says she’s still a product of an Italian raised household 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m not speaking on a woman who has millions and can literally take her children to their homelands to keep in touch with their culture and people. The Asian child doesn’t have to look white, but better believe their culture would be based on that white family. The way they talk, act, eat, etc. she might not be Italian in her DNA, but it’s all she knows and who she was raised by. Ever seen Tarzan? Human, but acted like a Gorilla, because THATS HOW HE WAS RAISED. Simple logic, but hey not everyone has common sense 🤷🏻‍♀️ This wasn’t the only Italian show that I seen Italian act in that behavior. But that’s what sells.

Brittany Dreoni my son is almost 6 years old and he’s also always been very strong minded as well, but he wasn’t a brat; there is a difference . I studied child development and im a pre school teacher so I see bratty behavior often. I may not say anything bc it isn’t appropriate but in my head I do. I see a lot of kids walk all over their parents because there is no discipline. And discipline is a good thing when it’s positive discipline.

All the people not understanding “Latina” is a cultural term not a ethnicity or even a race. Snooki is Native Chilean & European by ethnicity and Italian American culturally. “Latina” is people who were raised in a Latin culture. She wasn’t.

"Native chilean" and European by ethnicity?! All people born in Chile are "native chileans", regardless of their ancestry! If you're referring to "native chilean" as indigenous: Chile has different indigenous groups that are Native to Chile: Mapuche, Aymara, Diaguitas, Hiuluches, Atacameños, etc. that may look all the same to Europeans or others not familiar with those ethnic groups, but they aren't the same, they are different, in the same way Italians, Irish, germans, spaniards, etc are different from each other. Snooki is definitely 98% more indigenous than European, most likely of Aymara or Atacameño stock, since she was born in Northern Chile.

@@bluedeep1707unfortunately, these DNA tests aren’t really meant to specify communities, and really just use the label “Native American” as a monolith or racial category. So her Native American ancestry, like you mentioned, probably does include, not just one but multiple of those communities you listed. It would be cool if they could do more than pin point our DNA to general regions or countries, but being indigenous is so much deeper than a title, it’s a way of life! It’s about your connection to community and to the land. Many of us who come from Latin America don’t have ties to those roots anymore, but we could always try to reconnect respectfully and make an effort to decolonize our minds first! 🫶🏽

I'm adopted from Chile as well (also raised by an Italian adoptive mother), and I find it a little cringey that she didn't even pronounce "Santiago" correctly.... or correct Jenni when she says [Chile] is in Asia. Howeverrrr, at the same time, idk how Nicole really feels about being adopted, so I won't judge - just making observations. She seems interested but maybe not to know everything. She's kind of in between me and my older brother, where he seems to have a harder time talking about being adopted and kind of avoids it or speaks lightly about it without digging too deep. He can have surface discussions about it but never talks about meeting his biological family and doesn't have much desire to, which is fine, but I feel it might help him to know more about his situation.. might help him heal. I think he feels a lot of hurt with regards to being adopted, which can be common amongst adoptees in general. I, myself, have been to Chile and to the area I'm from and feel I have a better understanding than him of the culture and the conditions at the time of the dictatorship when we were all adopted. I am always very curious about my birthplace; I have Chilean friends, I've met my foster family when I went to visit the country (we keep in touch on Facebook), I've read and watched movies about the dictatorship of Pinochet, and I practice the language. I still debate when I'd like to learn more about my biological family, I think I would like to.. it just needs to be the right time. I'm thinking maybe this year I may reach out to my birth family. I know my birth mother's name, and I know she lives in the very south now, because I've googled her. And there's also a group online that connects children with their birth families if they want, through a DNA test first. A lot of children born under the dictatorship were actually stolen, and it's only come out in the last few years. I have a younger brother as well and haven't spoken to him much about that yet... I think I'll figure out my own stuff first and then share with my brothers what I found. We're all from different families and areas. Personally, for me I think it's important to find out where I came from, especially in this day and age when we have so much technology and connectedness at our hands... I'm not sure if I'll be accepted by my birth family or not, but it would be interesting to have some contact with them at some time when I'm ready. We'll see 🙈
